Default Most enjoyable encounter in EQ2 to date

Seriously, as much as I love to moan until peoples ears start to bleed, there is a lack of more positive posts.

So Avatars at the moment are some of the least fun encounters known to man, woman and bot...

While being challenging and something that is still going to be the hardest content in the game, what exactly would you like to see.

Ideally give reference to a few EQ2 encounters, but feel free to refer to things from other games (MMO or not).

It was the Druushk encounter before they hit it with the bat in LU43.

LOL I actually enjoy the Nexona ancounter, hard as it is, it's fun as hell. You have to have your ducks in a row and your shit all in 1 sock, but it is doable. It's the Venril of VP, it will deff let you know if your ready to move on.

Best encounter I've ever seen in any game so far is the Four Horsemen encounter in World of Warcraft actually. Also the C'Thun encounter from the same game. Both great, technical fights where every person in the raid mattered and that required a lot from the people in your guild to beat. Those two is what stands out for me, even though I enjoy EQ2 overall alot more than I did WoW.

Other than that, Rathe Council from EQ1 was a great fight even though I really hated it since we were cockblocked for several months waiting for SOE to make it killable.

nexona would be better if they didn't punish you for high DPS. Guild's should never be punished for high DPS.

Also they should not have nerfed Druushk, he was beatable in that form, just out of place progressionwise in VP, should have moved into the 3rd wing into Traverno's place and left him as is.

Chel'dak, Djinn Master in T6 were fun and challenging.

Nexona is quite fun, although being a glimmer harvester is probably lame. Also being punished for high DPS really ruins the enjoyment after that first kill.

Druush pre nerf was quite intense and fun, but the time from statues being active to the time the raid died because people didn't click fast enough was a touch short, another 0.5 or even a whole second just to give statue clickers time to blink during pulls.

Chel'Drak was fun, I liked how it was more involving than just people doing their usual assigned roles and healers needing kill their own add.

In general I'd love to see more encounters that involve all 24 people in a raid in performing their own task / role that isn't just the usual DPS/Heal/hold agro etc.

My experiences are limited though as before EQ2 I was highly into Counter Strike and a few other FPS games or PVP RTS types.
