The loot I have seen thus far looks crazy (caster ring).And LOL at that one sword where they totally ignored the mass of bards asking for faster run speed buff and placed it on a weapon you have to raid for.

A weapon, that's buff is 10% in-combat run-speed on it, good thing most bards put 6 points into the Harbringer's Sonnet, which gives 9%, and it doesn't stack, giving you only 10% :0

I have to admit, the bard loot is very unique and interesting, especially the weapon that gives 5% re-use on Aria's/Rianna's to the group. And the earring that makes the Stealth Attack give a buff for more range is sweet too.

But, uhm, improve difficulty of first 4 encouters, imo!

5% off all recasts on those bard buffs is nice, but the weapon better have good damage, too, because I hate to see bards forced to sacrifice a ton of personal dps for group buffs. I mean for example dirges are already going to be locked into wearing 6 set pieces, which is not exactly optimal for their personal dps unless I'm mistaken.

Only for Bards on that earring. And the weapon is all around good as well. The other weapon, blows stackable -10melee skills debuff and a shit 2.5 delay/spread :\

I'm all for over-specialized items dropping from really tough bosses like DMP, but two different (easy) encounters dropping two generally bard only items is a little much

The weapon is a 4.0 delay, about 105 DR weapon, so it's decent. It adds 5% reuse (AE) buff to Aria of Magic and Tomb's Calm (I'm guessing since that's the dirge's equivalent, I didn't pay attention too much). It also adds 10% incombat speed to Selo's (bard speed buff) - but as Pinski described it seems like it's bugged since it doesn't account for bard AA's in Selos - and the weapon has a stat on it that adds 10% incombat movement speed which anyone able to use the weapon could benefit from.

So while most people may dismiss this as Bard Only loot, it really is just a good solid one-hander which turns into a great onehander if you're a bard.

The other item is an earring which adds 25% casting haste to the bard stealth attack and some range to their CA's. So what happens is, if you're a bard and use (Grim Strike [dirge] or Night Strike [troub]) you'll get a buff that increases your casting speed and melee range for a small duration. If you're another class that gets the earring, it's just a regular earring with stats.
