Especially as there is a particle effect attached to the person with the Mark of Repulsion debuff. I mean, if you can see it, it should be displayed in chat somewhere, I guess, at least I think so.

Make it before, during or after the fact, I don't care, but I have to agree that the encounter is unintuitive and while there's no doubt that everyone knows how it works now, it should make sense on it's own, not just by reading QA notes. There should be an emote somewhere that says who will have, has or had the debuff, again either way works I'm not picky.

Also, the pull is retarded.

I feel the same way about the encounter. Since they clearly know how to add emotes to make people accountable.

However i think they didn't do this because it basically makes the only real obstacle of this encounter 'easy mode'. The idea of the encounter relying on a raid of members whom are 100% dedicated to paying attention, not those who need to be called out to play at their fullest.

I see each new encounter in eq2 trying to teach a new mechanic they intend to use again. Trak's reinforcing what VS taught us. Pay attention and you'll win. Trak's the same thing over and over, pay attention and you'll win.

All that said: I'm all for them adding emotes to the encounter. I'd love to bitch at those people watching T.V. instead of paying attention.

Well, honestly, I think it should say WHEN the knockback hits. Not before it hits. But when it hits. Like Venril Sathir's emote, you don't get it till shit hits the fan. I need somebody to bitch out, and considering how broken it is with deaths, it's kind of needed, TBH.

Also there should be some sort way to tell who had it maybe a 1 point power drain when it hits to the person its on or something. Doesn't have to be an emote to let you know just way to read who fucked up.

Ask your raid to press print screen when no one is saying they got the buff and it should go off any second. Then watch the screens and yell at the idiot very loud for 10-20 minutes, everyone who wont give you a screen gets -dkp.

I have to agree with Stoic. Would be nice to have some kind of emote so we can determine which type of pets are getting the knockback as well. Its fun to sit there with my dick in my hand just because, "gods gift to eq2 raiding" says I can't have my pet out.
