Worked wonders for us.
Or, stop attacking during the reflect!

Once you do it , I think Imzok is actually the easiest fight in zone other then Doomcoil.

1. We pull out of the room , hard left and tank back to that wall. Healers stacked diagonally across from tank with back to wall.

2. Jousting is a straight line down the hall towards the trash room.
a. good thing here is anyone that gets hit with trauma uses a potion then as they run by healers on joust in they can get spot heals/group heals.

3. We joust his torrent at 40 sec minimum (AoE swiped/mob free will/whatever) 40 seconds is a safe number.

4. At 37% the following happens..
a. DPS stop is called out except for the top 4 that get him to 35 then they stop.
b. 3 staff people go in the room to the same column
c. raid force jousts outs

5. at 35% , once columns down , we then joust back in and finish him off in a nice controlled manner again jousting his Torrent AoE.

If you read his AE affect, hes really easy to build an effective strat on. So I might as well make it easy now..

Setup healers close to tank, but outside 10m (from named). 5 seconds before AE, have all dps move outside 15m, yet keep casting/shooting. Wait for AE to set off, cure, get back in. Repeat until 35%.

Debuff at 40%, and at 35% (big red message goes off), have tank and all dps stop atk, and move all DPS outside 75m while you break down the pillars. I send 4 people to do it.

Once the pillars are down, have tank resume and dps come in and finish it off. (make sure the AE isnt about to fire)

You can decide your own positioning.

You can't stop your Ripost during fights, only your Autoattack.

Imzok attacks.
Attack is riposted by MT
Riposte damage is reflected from Imzog to MT
MT gets Damage with his own Weapon.
Getting Level 1 Weapon decreases Riposte Damage to nearly zero.

So read more carefully!

Are you sure that really happening? I remember melee damage simply being stoneskinned, only spells were actually reflected.

Uhm. You are aware that you only get riposted when you attack the mob, right? Stop attacking, no ripostes! OMGZ!!!!!!

He was saying the MT would riposte the mob's attack, and the damage from that would be reflected. Which seems rather non-sensical to me.

but you can stop em by a) lower tanks parry below 20% or
b) present your back to the mob (might not be that much of a good idea in that fight)

Probably thinking backwards. He was talking about the MT riposting not the mob. Aside from buckler spec and/or adorns which force ripostes on inc attacks, a simple parry check will also induce a riposte.

Either way, I've never seen a riposte "reflect back" during the SS period.

Turning around or not using your gladius would probably do more harm than good.
