Re: Imzok's Revenge
I just unequip my weapon when he becomes invulnerable. That way there's absolutely no chance i can do anything.
He becomes invulnerable -> unequip weapon -> tower of stone (cuz he seems to hit harder at this point) -> wait for him to become attackable -> re-equip weapon and kill

Re: Imzok's Revenge
he is saying that riposte damage is reflected back to tank, which doesn't happen.
just stop attacking when he goes invulnerable, and make sure people don't cast or their spells are reflected. i usually just sit back and wait for the big red message or the call for both pillars down, while watching the AE timer.

1. We pull out of the room , hard left and tank back to that wall. Healers stacked diagonally across from tank with back to wall.

Tank him in his room, it's more fun that way, not to mention faster. And easily doable, my guild tanks in his room every single time we do him.
And don't bother long range jousting, take the hit from the AE and cure it with pots or group cures or whatever. If you single pull him, you'll only need at most 5 pots per raider to handle him. If you can't handle his AE, you don't stand a chance taking down anything harder in this expansion.

Thats great.. The beauty of a game is their are typically multiple strats that work.
Our approach works just as well, either way..mob dead..body in the wall..loot on the floor.

Re: Imzok's Revenge
what's this with unequipping weapons, turning backs, riposte and stuff?
when the pillers become active and he's reflecting, just turn off your autoattack and nobody hit the mob. You can still maintain aggro by taunting when your crappy taunts are up, just don't attack it.
And if you need it, dragoons reflexes gives you a free 12 secs of no damage. 12 secs should be plenty of time for your pillar people to get them down.
I usually pop tos right when the pillars become active and he starts reflecting, cause there's always going to be that person who is a little late getting dps off the mob.
Recap:
start the smackdown
pillars become active and he starts reflecting
Turn off autoattack and call all dps out
ToS
taunt when they're up
if you need it and you're speced for it, dragoons reflexes
pillars down
resume the smack down
dead

Re: Imzok's Revenge
Imzog continues on 35% with his autoattack.
Autoattack from Imzog is parried by Tank.
Parry from MT turns into a Riposte, doing Damage on Imzog.
Damage is reflected back on MT.
This was our explanation for Damage Spike on MT, while nobody attacked Imzog. With the Yha-Lei Underarm Armor, our MT does insane high Riposte Damage.

Re: Imzok's Revenge
We got him, thanks to this thread for helping.
He does do a damage spike like crazy when he's at 35%, healers had to work pretty hard (and we had some close calls... for the 20 seconds or so the pillars were coming down.) Even ACT showed no dps was being done to Imzok, just a couple like "flurry?" attacks (from eq1... flurry drakes ftw) He just went on a wee bit of a rampage, both the first time we got him there (and he keeeeled me) and the 2nd time when he died.
The tank needs to have like his Blocks/Big Defensive moves ready to rumble for this part just to let the healers have a slightly easier time.
1 staff, pillars were down in 20s.
Kind of a long fight tbh, be prepared. - I found it easier when I unequipped my sword during the reflect time as well. Just stand there and take the beating. But hell no, don't put your back to the mob.
