The questlines go from kill 10 of this to kill 10 of that and virtually no scripted story sequences, giving the player no sense of epic purpose in completing and enjoying the questlines. Half-assing the job doesn't count as "following my business model". You do it my way the whole way or else you don't get to pin me with the blame.
Sub-raid mobs in T8 have too much health and give meaningless xp. We've said this before. There are virtually no linked encounters (a result of the automated zone populating tool?), which would be fine if we only had blue ae's, but we don't. This has dissuaded me from giving one last shot at grinding up a warlock, assuming the game has 80 levels and several weeks of entertaining bliss in the middle, which it doesn't.
There is still no gentle slope between 6-player and 24-player content. When players reach the gap they weigh their choices as:
a) all
or
b) nothing
and choose
b) nothing
...because they are usually here to burn free time, not to punch in and punch out with someone watching, or to train intensively with 23 other fickle players for a season.
I assume you think lag, awful graphics performance, control effects galore, dispels, bugs, imbalance, and demoralizing cheating are also part of my business model? If you have no history here, serious playing ability, or longer-term circle of friends then those things will quickly convince you to cancel.
All of which has been said, and apparently needs to keep being said.

Re: Good Job Soe on SoH
i read what you said and i fully understand it, SoH has some of the easiest epic trash in game and also some of the easiest named epics but it has some that can be pulled numerous ways and also aren't on easymode. all i see is people crying about casuals getting uber loot off the easy named because it degrades the quality of their own loot.

We kill Trakanon in less than 8 minutes. If it is a laggy night and we completely suck it might take 9 minutes. This definitely amounts to raiding 80 hours a week. The hardcore guilds that everyone wants to say raid 7 days a week 5 hours a night will be raiding 20 hours a week tops in a few weeks. That 20 hours will include clearing every single instance and killing every avatar that spawns as well as trak. I guess since people deem casual by how much they raid that will make us a casual 4 night a week guild.

Read this thread. Do you fuckin blame them?

Yes, I do.
If they are sick of the complaining for those certain 'tiers' of players, then fix the fucking game. Problem solved.
EDIT: In Eq2, I'm hardly hardcore, but I played eq1 since its BETA release, and I was fairly hardcore there. So no pulling that 'elitist' shit on me. Your talking to a guy who's got CL to look up to as the dominant guild on the server, lockin shit down. I raid like 4 times a week, and even I want this shit to get harder.

My guild first pulled Trak last time in and the fight took 8:31 or something? So I'd say 15mins max. Takes longer to get everyone there than it does to kill him.

It's what I've told everybody who's asked me about him, L2Read Emotes.

Where did I say we couldnt figure out how to kill Master P? I said we hadnt gotten that far..just means we didnt spend a lot of time in zone before we quit for the night (you know some people have to work). So again Im not sure where you are going with this..your whole L2Read rant is pointless, but appreciated, I'll remember that when we do try him.
Lets start over...even the trash in this zone appears to hit harder than most names in the group zones mentioned, ergo this zone doesnt appear to be as easy as a group zone. Happy now?
My ONLY point is that the mobs are harder than those in CoD and Maidens or at least are for the most of the playerbase.

[quote=Slippery;544370]We kill Trakanon in less than 8 minutes. How much time did you invest to learn and clear VP to get to Trak? No, because it ruins progression and skews risk vs reward. I don't give a fuck about other people's loot. Why should guilds strive to get better and kill Trak if they can farm SoH respawning trash with one group for nice loot?

The night SoH went live we had PURs on Kithicor killing the trash with 3 groups or less all night long.
