Yes you do. You need an item from the quest to kill Maestro. GG.

If I, a casual, can walk into a raid zone with 1-2 groups of people who never raid, and beat the shit out of trash, let alone getting some of the named down 25%, then those mobs are way too easy. Seriously, when my guild pulls together our "core" later today those mobs are going to be dead in 1 pull, no doubt in my mind.

And if your going to pull the omg uber uber card omg, a raid x2 that was pulling 6k dps, 4k of which was mine is not fucking uber, no matter which way you try to slice it. 6k + 2 minutes = 25% of the first named's life? Give me a break. Any casual guild pulling around 24k dps should have him down in 2 minutes. Its sad that in order for me to get people their updates in say maiden's(even if they aren't good I'll help any guildy) I have to stack a group so the job gets done right. With a pathetic half assed raid that didnt have jack shit for support, dps, or heals, we practically manhandled the beginning of the zone. The nameds might as well have a damn right click option that instantly kills them its so sad.

Getting loot is awesome, i'll admit that i do like a new pair of shoes, but where is the fun if everyone can just walk up, /autoattack /afk and come back later to loot. I'm just waiting to hear of conjies and necro's soloing the zone.

I honestly dont care what you other casual players say, its fucking boring hands down.

Alesis, you are, as has been previously said, fucking retarded.

Are you seriously implying that the people who spend less time on the game than you do, haven't learned to prioritize their real lives over a fantasy world? Don't even fucking bother with bringing up that 'that 20 hours a week is solely for raiding, what about your regular game playing hours'. How does spending more time doing solo / heroic instances give them an advantage over you? Considering I can get through every major group zone in under 15 minutes worth of parsed fight time in each, save for chelsith. Then, look! Your locked out for a 18 hours.

Last I checked, most hardcore raid guilds can have important people not show up and still kick shit in the face. In fact, I don't think I've ever seen any of my friends in higher tier guilds that have to take a day, or a week off for work, school, family, etc, complain about the guild QQ'ing. At the other side of the spectrum, anyone who seriously wants to succeed and have fun at this game, and dedicate the time to being successful in it, has no problem with doing that either.

I'm sure that hardcore raiders make up FAR more than 2% of the population as it stands right now.

Ask yourself this, you keep talking about how progression in the game is unimportant to the other 98% of the population that plays casually, why are you playing this game? Why play any game? Why not become the Nuclear physicist, or the doctor, or the lawyer. Who plays an MMO because they 'don't want to progress their character to the max ability they can.' Why sit here and argue with Calagin, Gaigex, or anyone else, trying to justify why you can't kill shit, when it shouldn't even matter?

I know alot of people who are EXTREMELY successful in real life that play games like this. Why? Because its a release. A person who is successful in life, has way more time to dedicate to relaxing with a game like this.

EDIT: Different Pass-times appeal to different people. Some go for spa-trips, some sit down and read a book, some watch TV, some go snowboarding, and some, sit down with a bag of chips and some beer and beat the shit out of internet dragons.

Thank you for your post that supports hardcores, even though you are casual!

Answer:
Best graphic set in any MMO atm for shit like this and the other video geeks like myself at Machinima.com, where I like to practice the art form as I learn it, and get advice on ways to improve it, while I wait on the next generation of MMOs to get released.

PS: Feel free to say it sucks or whatever, that wont bother me at all. You asked a question, theres your answer.

I cant believe I read the WHOLE thing.

If someone can get fabled end game raid drops with a bot group there is something wrong.

That was a fairly well made video. Now tell me, how long did you spend making that?

Would it be fair to say that me ridiculing you for paying 14.99 a month to make a few video's like that would be hipocritical, considering I'm argueing with you about the fact that your ridiculing the hardcore community for spending their time raiding rather than making love video's?
