Answer:
Best graphic set in any MMO atm for shit like this and the other video geeks like myself at Machinima.com, where I like to practice the art form as I learn it, and get advice on ways to improve it, while I wait on the next generation of MMOs to get released.
PS: Feel free to say it sucks or whatever, that wont bother me at all. You asked a question, theres your answer.

that is an epic video..like the flashbacks in black and white.

Re: Good Job Soe on SoH
I really hate beating this dead horse, but I really hate when people talk about time commitment. Confirmed has a lower unemployment rate than the United States of America.
Getting out and getting sunshine? Well thats pretty hard to do when you have to work all day. When im done i kinda wanna go home and relax a little bit so I play this game. I fucking hate reality TV so I dont do that.
You could seriously know where I am at any given time of the day b/c my schedule is so static. Wake up 6:30, leave for work 7:30, get at work 8:00, go to gym 12-1:30, work 1:30-5, go home make dinner do random chores, raid at 7, stop raiding at 10-11, watch previously recorded shows on my dvr till 12....repeat. Weekends I pretty much get to do w/e the fuck i want.
I'm pretty much sick of partying the first year of my college experience i was in a drunken stupor and I pretty much at this point think alcohol is pretty damn boring and even If i didnt i couldnt go out and have a RL during the week b/c ive gotta fucking go to work.

Would it be fair to say that me ridiculing you for paying 14.99 a month to make a few video's like that would be hipocritical, considering I'm argueing with you about the fact that your ridiculing the hardcore community for spending their time raiding rather than making love video's?

1) Thank you for the compliment. I made that at work. I have a new job that I got recently that allows me to work in a real, working TV studio, and when there is free time, I am allowed to use the $300,000 video editor to "practice" my chops with video off of my laptop, which conveniantly plugs right into the editor itself. (It took about 3 hours to make that, from filming to editing. It used to take me longer, but Ive gotten a bit better at it in my practice.)
2) I dont care how much time someone invests in being hardcore, though I do reserve the right to lol at you for it, just like the hardcore dudes like to talk shit about my dps, or the fact that my loot sucks cause I just dont care about stats, and am more concerned with my appearance for videos.
Hell, I wanted to make videos of cool end game shit for those same hardcore dudes awhile back, but without the uber time investment, cause I dont have it, but in applying to do it for them, I discovered how supremly arrogant and childish they are.
My point is so what if SOH drops awesome loots that n00b guilds can get. It doesnt change shit. Hardcore guilds still clear VP, and n00b guilds wont. And when you see a dude in a SOH healers shield walking around, youll know what it took for him to get it, so it doesnt lessen the VP clearing guilds accomplishments any, at least not to anyone outside the HC raiding circles. Only the Hardcore raiders care, and only they are crying about it.

Exactly. The same situation for most that play this game tbh.

Its more the moral of it. Most of the hardcore guilds have players that have worked hard to get where they are, studying aspects of their class, strategy, etc, that no one else touches. The fact that these x2 trash mobs, and these easy as cake named drop these awesome items is basically nullifying that accomplishment. To each his own. I'm not hardcore, but I'm not as softcore as you. I'm still pissed that, at the very least, in the spirit of the origonal EQ, that progression is not followed properly. It jumps all over the place.
It gets worse over time. Right now, we have heroic gear that completely dominates gear in the first few tiers of raids, which is incredibly rediculous. The fact my templar has like 3? peices of raid gear, and the rest is all heroic gear. The same arguement is held with this zone, the mobs are rediculously easy, but hold loot that is better quality than that out of the top tier of raids. I don't think SOE is meaning to cater solely to the 'super friggin' casual crowd, but this isn't balance. That's what their pissed about. There is no balance.

I understand that, I was just arguing the fact that even though there is now a raid zone available that drops cool stuff the "not hardcore" guilds can get easily, doesnt diminish thier effort as much as they think it does. It might just give guilds like mine the incentive to log back on, and try some more, like it did for us the other night.
I havent seen one of our raids that jazzed to kill some shit since the first time we pulled Venril Sathir.
The fact that the ubers want to tier this after Trakanon, and effectivly make it thier own private playground makes me feel like they are greedy whores, who dont care about anyone but thier own uber asses, and frankly, why should they? I guess if I was in thier shoes, I prolly wouldnt either. But the game is losing people, and fast, and maybe this will put subs back online.
----------------------------------------------------------------
To that other fuckwit:
Eat me, Ive been trying to get decent class sets together for videos since I was in 5R the first time when Cinadien led, and there where no appearance slots. (t6). He used to tease me all the time in /tells =
"You want that ring of Uber Dirgery?"
"Fuck rings, but thanks!"
"You crack me up lol- did you get that fight filmed entirely?"
"Yep"
"Cool, thats why your here."
I have spent my time in game collecting every class set for my toon there is in its completness, just for the graphics alone. Thats my trip, thats what I do. Once appearance slots came out, it just made it easier, but didnt change my focus. Im not here for the loots, honestly, if it doesnt show up as a graphic, I couldnt give 2 fucks about it.
Wanna see 19 more videos to prove it? Nah, I didnt think so....

Understood. Makes sense.

I don't personally think the 'ubers' want to tier this after trak, I think they'd PREFER if the items dropped in the zone were toned down. If you don't care about loot, there should be no incentive to go into a zone like this to begin with. Even if some of the gear I saw in this zone was toned down to half of what it is now, it would still be great incentive to do the zone.
