I love this zone (shut the fuck up and finish reading before you start foaming at the mout and flame me). I really do. It's unique as hell, looks totally awesome, and it's pretty creepy (strictly talking graphic design here).

I think the mobs are fine. Yeah, there's a couple of loot pinatas. Master P'tasa actually got us thinking though. Nice encounter there. Doable, yes, but different, and not a loot pinata, per se. Stop calling it a Tier 0.5 zone, by the way. This is easier than PR? lol PR doesn't even have trash to clear! It's just free loot, waiting to be snatched up!

The loot...well, personally, I'm glad to see loot coming of of trash again (a la Relic patterns). Shut the fuck up! However, the gear is definitely overpowered. Masters dropping off of trash? Who fucking cares? Does it really burn your balls to see 100 Thieves Guild master 1s on the broker? No, because the spell fucking sucks.

Alas, worry not, my friends. Thanks to the few who's brains melted and psyches completely fucking snapped at the sight of badass loot in an easy zone will have SoE on the edges of their seats nerfing the shit left and right. Note how I do NOT disagree about the loot, but christ, some of you guys need to calm the fuck down before you have a stroke!

It would be nice tho if SOE for once, ONCE, get itemization right at the launch of a zone. ffs. Buffing the bosses afterward, or nerfing the loot, will only piss off people.

I like the zone too, it is fun and yes obviously rewarding. It actually made a lot of people of my guild who were about to quit the game come back and be happy again about raiding.
So I d say it is pretty much a success.
Content that makes your customers flee : Bugged, boring and stupid T2 for exemple = Bad
Content that makes your customers happy and not wanting to quit the game out of boredom = Good.

I don't give a shit about whatever is the "risk vs reward" vision of some of the people here who like to be raped over and over by buggy avatars just so they can scream all over that anyway the loot is shit, as long as my guild and I are actually having "fun" and don't feel playing EQ2 is like a second job. Whine all you want, until you maybe realize one day that you are actually the problem and not the solution.
