I have mixed feeling about this zone. I have to agree the zone is WAY TOO EASY but then again we only made it past the first boss before the zone started crashing every 5 minutes and we had to start all over. So I can't comment on the entire zone. However, we killed the first name and most of the trash with just 1 group. Seriously, no T8 named x4 should be killed by 6 people.
The loot is definitely awesome and it drops off both named and trash. Another New Tunarian is awesome! :D Having it drop from x4 trash that can be killed by 6 people is not ok.
My opinion, make the difficulty of the zone fit for a raid. Trash should be strong enough to where it would take any average guild 24 people to kill it. NOT 6 PEOPLE!!!
Do the same for the names. I do like how they scale from low 80's to 86x4 and then 88x4. The typical guild can find challenge in the first 3 named. Above average (VP clearing guilds) can find challenge in the 86 x4, and the top guilds can have there fun with the 88x4. Having something for everyone in one zone is nice.
Right now the zone is weaksauce.

Inspect all the mages you walk past in QH and see how many are wearing Crystal Gift, even though it's trivial to 1-group farm off of green trash.

We already know you don't value concepts like difficulty/reward and gear progression. However, people who actually raid (casually or hardcore) do.

If SoH came out and the loot sucked you'd all be in here bitching because you just cleared the zone and transmuted everything. I had fun in there, and got some cool new loot, that's all that really matters to me in a game. But I guess if I were in EQ2 for the sake of my epeen then I'd be pretty pissed right now....

I'm talking Crystal Gift for raiders and even group players who are not saturated with mythicals and can't pretend that they have no power issues 100% of the time. For them the item is pathetically easier to farm than a long instance and tradeable and even good broker value and even BOXABLE and people STILL fucking don't do it.

You're still fresh, I don't value your opinions or your futile aspirations one way or the other. You really don't have a compass for where you're going or for what works and what doesn't. If a zone is fun then it's fun, who gives a Flying Fuck what loot drops. And if a zone is bullshit and fucking sucks, all the loot in the universe isn't going to save it or redeem its designer. That's what you fail to understand. That's a very fatal thing to misunderstand when you try to make money off of a game.

It is badly designed dewd. The zone is fun as shit, I had a blast until the zone crashed. I will give you that and I am not talking about what drops in the zone. The fact is that it is a raid zone that has the difficulty of a group instance. That wouldn't be bad if the mobs in the zone were scaled as such. But they are x3, x4 and are no tougher than your average heroic boss. We did it with very few people and no we are definitely not a world class guild (we raid 4 nights a week, for 3-4 hours. we just entered VP last night [only been a guild for a month, and been building since then. Just now filled our roster] so not exactly pimping the uber gear either).
I am not saying the zone should be hard as fuck. But if your going to make it a raid zone, make it a raid zone. Not a group instance that you can take 24 people into to farm loot. Even making the first 3 bosses plus trash capable with a PUG raid would be fine.
My statements may be premature since we only killed the 1 boss. However he was easy as shit considering our casual guild pwn'd him with ease with 1 group. So scaling the mobs incorrectly is bad design.
