Im currently unsure about it
we started flagging our alts to get them Mythicals

Ive killed Tazira for my Illu mythical and killed Overking Selrach
so when im heading to CoD , i know Venril is still missing,
the game says you need to defeat Venril Sathir and Overking Dizok
in he past when my main got flagged and Venril was missing

it said only you need to defeat Vneril Sathir to enter CoD
now it says I need to kill both to get CoD access

on my main I did the quest which was not necessary to do in the past
killed Pawbuster Imzok Tazira and then Overking and Venril

so my question is do I still have to kill all tier1 bosses then move on to Venril and Overking before I get CoD access ?
and do I have to do the Fate of Norrath Quest aswell ?
can anyone enlighten me who recently did the flagging process ?

T1 doesn't mean shit except the item drops.

Overking and Venril are needed to zone into CoD.

Leviathian is needed to zone into VP.

well dude then tell me pls why the game still tells me i have to kill Venril and Overking when i click on the CoD zone in
as ive killed the overking already on my alt

Same thing happened to us recently. I think its just a change in the wording. Once you kill VS, you should be able to zone in.

You need to kill every single mob of lower tiers to progress, why would you think it any other way?

Fate of Norrath is just a cheesy quest that gives you a house item.

NO FFS I did not
all for fucks sake im saying is that I havent killed Venril yet
but Overking on the alt

and CoD is telling me I have to kill Overking and Venril when I click on the zone in of CoD
I did that to figure out if just need to kill Vneril and Overking

without killing godawful Pawbuster and Imzok
as other ppl on my server didnt have to kill any of the tier1 mobs and just killed Venril and Overking had CoD access

and Im also aware of the fact that the quest was a fluff from the beginning

but you know SoE does ninja patch things ?

and probably anyone who answered here yet hasnt flagged an alt without clearing tier1 completley in lets say the last month and had access
my point is that I dont want to go thru the whole shit again
and my guild is seriously not willing to do Pawbuster etc every week just that we have our alts VP flagged in the case gear drops that would get otherwise transmuted having epics done in the case we are short on a few classes

and since you can zone to tier2 zones without killing all tier1 bosses
it seems to me that tier1 is just not required for progression Fabiio
you know get it ?

It will say Overking and Venril until you have killed both and tried clicking in again, it's just the way it's been coded so will say both until you have actually killed both.
Plus T1 doesn't mean anything in terms of flagging either as already said.

That's how it is, you've always needed both OK and VS for T3, regardless of the seems-to-be-an-access-quest.
