that's funny we had our tanks tank him and didn't get the curse. we went full burn on him. was fun.

To avoid the curse, have your fighters go make a sandwich. Master P will be dead when they get back.

i havent figured out the script in detail yet, BUT after encountering the curse for the first time (didnt get it last time) we tried 1 thing on 3rd pull which stopped the curse completely:

- no avoid-buffs on the dude tanking the mob (emphasis: cant remember about whether shieldally was used)

- no +x threat or -threat spells (taunts+detaunts)

- we figured midfight, that +/- hate position spells dont trigger anything. paladin tanked the mob and used holy aura whenever possible, which did work and we had the brigand intercept-detaunt for others for his memwipe/blur-stuff (we had 1 nec with us who died like 10 times in that fight because he always got aggro even without inflicting a single point of damage to the mob after getting rezzed), which did also work.

so instead of just beeing all sneaky and all the secretiveness, why not trying to completely figure out the script together, because PVE is no fucking competition.

taunts/detaunts definitely trigger the curse. Also the lack of any fighters in raid will also trigger it ironically. We booted all our fighters and got a new message I hadnt seen previously and the curse.

For whatever reason, we couldnt get our fighters to actually be part of the encounter and not trigger the curse. Eventually decided on having a dead one be part of the raid and just lay there but this is obviously not optimal and not intended by design.

Design is figuring out exactly what procs/abilities are causing the curse and having the discipline to not do them, which is seemingly harder than it sounds...

We pull him to the stage looking little walled in area right in front of him with a defiler dog. Then tanks battle for aggro on him, we use taunts, rescue, de-threats, etc. Aggro bounces all over the place, and we never get a curse.

This guy is cake just kick out your fighters and just have the person that takes aggro get away from the raid to avoid his AE. Fight takes about 8-11 minutes but he dies easy. He might kill one or two people. Avoid using little damage attacks to lower the chance of his stoneskin from procing.


And he has no curse with no fighters in the raid.

They changed the script last week.
if you have no fighters in the raid, he curses the raid, they go boom. fight over.

Time for you to rethink things :P
