wow read the post. must i quote myself? the encounter's a simple one and I said before the things that are an issue with the enounter and how to get around em. Simply put. the strat to kill the mob is there in plain context no +threat or +position modifiers at all = curseless raid, also stack on the tank and take the AoE because #1 its not that bad and #2 its easier to get HP in combat then power.

For reals, its really this simple:

1) Have a pet pull all the way to the front door, and have a pally stand in a corner and just simply taunt his ass off, nothing more.

2) Dont let fighters do anythign but stand /afk.

3) Eat the HP AOE, it aint shit, and zerg till dead.

3) Move to sisters.

I didn't know so many people resorted to zerging on this encounter. No one even dies to the ae in my guild.

There is really some conflicting shit here. Is this due to changes to the encounter in mid-thread, I wonder. Or maybe no one has actually found the trigger for the curse.

Some people say, no DPS from fighters, but go apeshit on taunts.

Some people say, go apeshit on DPS but use no taunts.

We've killed him on every trip by having a scout tank him, but if someone can explain the trigger for the curse without being contradicted entirely by someone else, we'd probably have a fighter tank it again.

Until then, there's no reason not to continue scout tanking it.
