so obviously there are many contradicting things beeing stated about this mob.
i am just guessing here, but wouldnt it be possible for the mob to have multiple scripts like AoM had? thatd explain a lot of the stuff beeing said here

still i personally hate not knowing exactly whats going on with the script

first kill we just pulled it, got some memwipes along, some dead ppl (esp. necros) and a dead mob 12min later... he did not curse once that day and we killed him on the first pull ever made by us

2nd kill we had multiple failed pulls where he cursed and in the end we killed him in like 5th pull with not using avoidance-buffs, skipping on taunts and detaunts. that worked

3rd attempt was last night, where i wasnt there myself, but was told, that after pulling him he instantly decided to go kill a troub, which was only standing around and doing nothing after the 3rd attempt where he always got the full attention of the mob

I (troub) always get aggro on Master P, but he never kills me, just punts me up in the air then jumps on someone else. He seems to cycle through the same people in the raid, more or less.

The mob dies easily, but I agree it'd be nice to know exactly what is happening. Would love to see the QA notes for it plz NPU!!

he says you again? blaH BLAH BLAH in the beginning after you pull him ...we assumed he doesnt like to see the same tank that pulls him. so we tried pet pulling and never got the curse again. not saying this is IT but it worked for us.

Update: Well, we had a monk tank it without taunts and no curse. So, I tanked it next time with my guard without taunts and no curse.

I think pet might be the key also. We always pull with a dog, and never get a curse. The one time we didn't pull with dog we got cursed.

ya we have taunted and deaggro'd the shit out of him and he doesnt curse only thing that seems to work is the pet pull

• Several raid npcs in Shard of Hate will now give guild status when defeated. Master P'Tasa will no longer get confused by pet pulls.
• Master P'Tasa in the shard of hate will only consider fighters who have their auto attack on, those who are inactive are no longer counted as fighters during the fight.
• The Art Institute Scholarship zone will now respawn NPCs and objects when the zone is re-entered.

I don't know if we were doing this script wrong before or what. We just went into SoHate tonight thinking we would plow through and got wtfpwnt by Master P and his curses. Anyone having a hard time with him or beat him after the patch? If you beat him, did you use the same strat as before or have to change it? Just curious.
