I can confirm this, they really do suck. It's mostly the reason I quit.

sorry to bump an old thread.
i have been browsing xanadu loot page, and i m seeing a lot of item requiering 1 concentration to maintain most of those item coming from SOH.
im wondering what is the average concentration slot usage class-wise.
iirc zerker bards illu (not sure about coercer though) use all 5 for their buff
it kinda suck for these class to have to drop their class buff to use an item when other can have all their buff + item's effect.

Assassins use 3. What items are you seeing that on? I haven't noticed any that require concentration slots.

can only remember seeing a necklace that req 1 conc slot to add 800 or 1K hp, and ill will 1 conc slot for +25 to all stat and some 1k or 1k5ish resist to everything + a bonus* to heals when getting heal (* iirc cant be sure about the heal part).

Cleared trash last night,
3 loot drops
3 masters
Still worth trying for drops like that.
And in response to the above post, Guardians use 4 of their 5 concentration slots. So the Necklace of Woven Flesh (buff that adds 500 hps for 1 conc slot) is well worth it.
Paladin won one as well last night, not sure about the utility for that class.
