I'd rather see free content cover most of the nostalgia and have the bulk of the next expansion as new content. if what was discussed in the other thread about registered trademarks is true, we might see new with only slight ties and references to eq1 lore.

Some people wish to see velious as a new expansion because they had a blast with it in EQ1.
I don't understand why they think redoing a whole expansion with dragons/dwarves/giants + snow and ice would be as good as it was.
They could do a wonderful job with an odus expansion.

Luclin is no more... but yeah Velius and Odus ftw! I like the idea of more "EQ1 content" as being free while new zones could possibly be the next one.
