have to agree on resist+hit rates. itd be way better if youd hit as always (like say... maidens... NOT like SoH) and the mobs would gain more hitpoints instead :/

Fought Siltsea over and over tonight. Couldn't beat him.

I've been looking over my parse data for him. 45% of his dmg is Dehydration (Heat AE) and his other spells also do a sigificant amount of dmg (also heat except for hot winds). Almost all of his dmg is heat based.

We tanked him in the tunnel, and we tanked him in the tent with no sand. As far as i can tell from all my parses, He does about the same DPS no matter how you do that. All that changed between the fights was when a Druid joined us, and our heat resistance went up. As far as i can tell to beat this guy you need 2 or more heals (of differnt types), high heat resists, and a tank who is tough and knows how to position a mob... Nothing more tricky than that... He is a tank and spank mob who just does a significant amount of heat dmg.

I did see that he recieved heals each time he used Dehydrate. He emotes when a party memeber dies... I did not see any change in DPS when the player died tho..

After reviewing more of my Seasilt parses i have discovered that Dehaydration triggers EVERY 18-20 SECONDS. This rate maybe increased when he or a group memeber touches sand, but i dont know as the group didnt let him on sand. But its very consistant across all of my parses (we tried him 12 times). Every 18 to 20 seconds he lets out Dehydration It heals him and does significant heat dmg to the whole party.

Each time it triggers Seasilt got approx. 5000 health healed per person. The heal is prevented if the attack is resisted.

Or maybe that the avarage dps against mobs in this zone is like 25% less than normal zones? and the resist rates are god damn annoying!
I hear you!

It sucks to tank....miss miss. And the mobs seem to be ninjas dodging attacks lol.

Still a fun zone regardless.Esp when your tank is a pally!

It's interesting how I often get a second wave of hammers from Slamhammer just after we've AE killed the first wave. They usually hit us when most of our AEs are waiting on recast..

Fabled tank is sure nice in here and AE dps really helps as well.

I've cleared this as a legendary geared tank (but that was with raid geared dps), but am having a bit of trouble as an illus.

For the epic encounter do T7 master mezz's land ? - I never bothered to upgrade to T8 adept3's, and now I go looking for masters they aren't to be found.

With Sentiment & Illuminate up, I've only managed to land a group mezz on Bergo the Dirty and Usla. The epic is immune, but I'd swear I saw 'immune' flash up on the group mezz on at least one of his buddies too.

There are rumors that the healer/warder add can cure root+mezz.... hm... anyway, something's fishy about these adds concerning CC.

Not a rumor, is a fact. I tested this out by using my group root. Pulled with it, landed on all 4, warder casted, all 4 ran at me. Is either a group cure, or a VERY fast cure on each.
