Runnyeye 2.0
Besides the Irony that i am a resident of the Runnyeye EU server and we have yet to see the patch...
maybe this would be a good place to see some screenshots of loots (can;t see the links yet in the coercer channel ) tips on what to be preapred for, what type of group makeup would be best, I heard mobs are immune to majority of control effects?, ther is some questlines for cloaks?
and anything else?

Re: Runnyeye 2.0
Did this instance last night.. didn't really have to try to use any control effects (IE mez, root, or charm) on anything until the epic x 2 at the very end. The epic x 2 mob it is HIGHLY recommended to have a chanter, or someone who can do an encounter root, imo. Will make that fight much easier

Re: Runnyeye 2.0
for lewt, maybe wanna check out the loot impressions thread? ;)
http://www.eq2flames.com/items-equip...sions-re2.html
fabled stuff on page 14 (assuming you have 10posts/page)
and actually RE should have been patched by now... well.. at least the other eu servers are
group makeup... its not needed, but will speed up the run: AE dps (like in pal+warlock or zerk+swash). also recommend ench for the last namer, other stuff is not much to worry about. like nizara you will want to bring 2 priests of distinct classes for the first few runs (dunno about later)

Re: Runnyeye 2.0
The zone had some funny parts.. Like mob names, farting AOEs.
Personally I was a little disappointed.
I guess there is a golden beatle that can drop 9-10plat.. rare spawn?
The loot was subpar.. below loot you can get from COA. Granted we only for legendary chests.. so maybe we were unlucky (no masters).

Re: Runnyeye 2.0
Went in last night with e guildies and 3 pickups (6).
Guardian
Troub
Swash
Mystic
Fury
I forgot other (non mez)
I have only been to RE a few times, so the lack of a map was a bitch for me. We killed 4 nameds and died 3 times to "Da Gas Passer" before the group broke because 2 people had to leave for a raid.
We died 1 time to the sand storm shammy before we killed him (I am hearing most people die'ing like 9 times /shrug).
The second named e fought, he stands on top of a dead eye hanging, mez's or stuns the crap out of he tank, best to target him directly and not through the tank.
The first named was an easy mob (eye), did not notice anything special.
The 4th named, in a room with a bunch of dead gnomes on the floor, when the named gets to 50 or 40 life, the gnomes get up and attacked us also. Burn the named, the adds poof when named dies.
I forget who the 3rd named was, so nothing special I think.

Re: Runnyeye 2.0
The zone is entirely too easy, not even close to a real challenge to be honest. Sure, we died a couple times first run, but I would bet when I go in today it'll be just a farmfest.
Lots of trash, we cleared everything last night but I'm pretty sure you can leave some of the rooms half full and just blow past them.
Kept getting legendary chests until the Epic, which was the only pseudo challenge of the entire zone. Exquisite had a pretty nice healer item in it. 0 Masters.
/le sigh

AE dps (or just massive dps in general) is highly recommended. Otherwise this zone would take forever.
Dunno about the 2-healer thing. Did it on test a few days ago with me (brigand) tanking and a templar solo healing it. We were pulling huge clumps of mobs at a time. The only nameds we didn't just run in and tear apart were the noxious guy and the sandscrawler king (the scripts wiped us the first time we saw them, and only because we were rushing). x2 was a joke, we just burned everything down. Zone took us 90 minutes even with an incredibly dps-stacked group.

Re: Runnyeye 2.0
As an after thought, I want to add a few things. Grou make up WILL determine how hard this zone will be (player abilities not withstanding).
Also, we had some trouble, but it could have been more because it was a first time through. However, gear could play a major factor as well. I am not a raider. I only have 1 set piece from COA. The rest is MC / Quest gear.
I saw no mobs under lvl 80 2up's (and those came in 3's).
For all the shit I will catch for saying the following, to me it is worth it. A zones level of dificulty will always depend on player ability, gear and expectations. RE 2.0 is much more difficult than COA and Vaults, as in those zones the majority of the mobs were lower in level.
Agree or not, it is a truism. I will also add, we died 7 times before my group departed, but atleast I was having a fun time!!!
