KorSha - Aktar/Uthtak

The first time we went into korsha we smoked this encounter on the first pull. Our 2nd and 3rd attempts in this zone have ended in failure. Has this encouter been changed recently?

The strat we use is MT pulling Aktar to the back left corner and the OT pulling the adds and Uthtak to the right side of the stairs corner area while all dps is on Uthtak.

We've heard about the reflect uthtak has and that u need to tank them away from each other.

Any information is appreciated. Thanks.

hm.. what youre doing sounds right to me, tanking aktar far away because of his nox AE that wont hit anyone besides MT(+group) the way you described

so.. what went wrong on your later pulls after all?

I'm not sure what's going on. Our tanks die, then raid dies(i usually fd

).. It's usually the OT that dies from the pounding that hes getting from adds and uthtak. Does the DPS the encounter go up with the more DPS the raid does or something? thats the only thing i can think of...

We were running 7 healers at first.. even brought in an 8th healer for last couple pulls. still wiped continuously.

we only use one tank (zerk ftw) and he pulls all mobs in a corner. this is better b/c no healer has to switch, move or something like that and can spamheal.
then max dps at Uthtak (adds die in aes) from max range

yea, doesn really matter if you use 1 or 2 tanks, as long you burn the adds down quick (paladins 10sec stoneskin is nice for that)

If you wipe in spite of having so many healers, why don't you try mezzing the heroic adds and kill Uthtak first, then each add one by one?

No tricks here. AE to joust and burn mobs.

Yeah the adds are just heroic so mez them, direct target, group mez could get reflected.

We just have one tank hold everything, and its a straight burn fight...its actually a joke of a fight to us now. We used to split tank it and occasionally wipe, but i think it might actually be easier with just one. And we don't joust anything, just wtfpwn it fast. The adds die early and the Uthtak dude died real fast.
