hey there, people, i'm here yet again and with the usual question: this bloody game doesn't accept translated mob names in macro's, so somebody post the exact english name of Silverwing adds here, please, to help me target 'em while they make their miraclous trips through walls and under the floor.

Oh, really? Unfortunately, for that to work I need to be closer to the add than to Silverwing. And for that I need to know where the bloody add is. And that in turn is a little bit hard to guess while it is inside a wall, right? Really, dude, if you wanted to help a name of the mob would have done just fine, but if you stopped by just to give me a chunk of "fuk joo, stupid noob" - thanks, keep it for youself.

Just wondering if you cannot target them because they are going through walls like you say, how would the macro help? You still need line of sight, and by that time couldn't you just "tab" to them?

I have always noticed them coming from the back ramp or the ramp towards phara.

well... first, i don't recall where i said that i can't target them - i said i need mob's name to help me with targetting.
second, "tab" only allows you to target things you can actually see on your screen, so if i'm looking in opposite direction from where add's approaching or popped out of the wall "tab" won't target anything - /target macro on the other hand will. however it's also worth mentioning that "tab" allows you to target things that are around the corner if you rotate you camera right (f8 and simply clicking also work) while /target only targets things your character has clear line of sight of. so there are advantages and disadvantages to both methods.
but you probably know all this stuff already, don't you? i did tabbing on two Silverwing kills we had (we was only recently able to clear VP), it wasn't very convenient so I asked for the name of the mob here to try it with macro.

Pssh the way I do it is stand on silverwing.. and spin my screen around while mashing tab. Its what happens to OTs when they get bored and need an easy way. :P

Silverwing adds shouldn't ever go through any walls, unless you're fighting it in the most retarded positioning ever, which guilds like SD used to :P
