Default MMIS or Labs 2.0?

I would just like to thank SOE for creating a zone where guilds can easily obtain set pieces they otherwise would never equip. I love seeing discos from guilds on shoulders and helms and boots now that can't clear FTH or kill the Tender but they can certainly make there way through MMIS and kill the named that basically just stand there and die. Thank you for this great raid/gear progression you have given us.

Maybe they should make these mobs a little harder so they warrant dropping what is supposed to be end game gear. Crazy idea I know.

You know, the "Threepeat" curse does seem very strong in that zone. It's like, you get 3 of the same bracer from the first 3 mob, or 2 to 3 of some same other item.

As much as SoE swears that its RNGs are as close to random as permitted by computer technology and probability theory (and I saw Smed claim that at the first Fanfaire), I've just never believed it on how common it is to get two or three of the same exact rare occurrence back to back.

Whenever you are camping a rare named, it always seems like you get two spawns in a row, even after waiting days for one. Or, it always seems like you get 2 to 3 skillups in a row, they are never evenly distributed. SoE's RNG has never felt random like flipping a coin.

The things that make you go "hmmmm."

Well this is old news really, weve all known how fucked up the progression has been since 2 weeks into EoF when we first entered these instances (EH and IS). The Wolfsbane thing etc, its just backwards. So yeah the first named in IS needs to be ta hell of a lot tougher to fall in line with progression, tougher than the Unicorn, Centaur and Sayter on the second floor of EH.

Heh yeah well that brings up another complaint about the lack of creativity or knowing what a raider wants in gear. There is so little gear that feels like an upgrade in this expansion. Most of the best gear still drops in KoS which is fucking sad.

I agree this is complete BS, A noob guild on Unrest (Enlightened Dark) Got disco's on wizzy bracers yesterday because they can kill a pussy named! The named are easier then fucking Shredder in FTH

im pissed that someone on my server disco'ed the troub helm and hes in a casual raiding guild that hasnt killed 2nd name in freethinkers to my knowledge =/

yes it sucks, was surpised we got 3 or 4 discoveries off the loots last night from MMIS.
