Personally i think you just need to calm the fuck down. It seems to me you are complaining just because you can. O no the boss on the first floor of EH is dropping the same loot as a gargoyle in MIS that has a pathetic AE and you can practically melee his 3 mil hp. But guess what... it aint the fucking end of the world. While i can understand being against it...just clam the fuck down.

o and ya... even with this change... im SERIOUSLY doubting guilds are just gonna stop doing EH.

The people who support this are probably people who will never beat any named mob in EH other then say Mistress of the Veil.

Of course they support shoulders dropping off the trash named in IS, cause they don't stand a chance in hell against Tender.

I really can't understand how people that have actually seen this stuff can be getting bent out of shape over it dropping off easy mobs. It's fucking garbage for a number of classes. Jesus, go and find something important to complain over like the fucking quality of the stuff rather than what's dropping it.

If it was actually the best gear for each class then yep, complain your assess off about trash named drops. But some of this is useless shit. Christ, get some perspective.

Anyway, at least the posts by some of the 'ubers' actually complaining about a more casual player getting the disco made me nearly fall out of my seat laughing - keep those coming

It's not the fact that we are 'ubers', its the fact that progression and itemization have been fucked in this game since T5, and nobody gives a shit.

Of course casual raiders aren't going to complain, because they have the give me now mindset, where they want the gear, but dont' care to work for it.

How that makes a healthy end game I dont' know....but that is what EQ2 has become.

I can agree progression and Itemisation are not great for raiding. However, a number of posts in here are pointing directly at the class armour in it's current state. As I said in my post, it's pointless moaning about that gear in it's current form dropping off gimp mobs because, mostly, it's the right standard for those gimp mobs.

If the armour was actually that much better than stuff already available I could understand it.

If people want to argue other points, they should address them, not muddy the waters with nonsensical arguments.

Maye the real issue is that many expected the class armour to be the be all and end all and are just now realising that, for many classes, it's not. Possibly they are ranting based on expectation and hype rather the current, rather disapointing reality.

A couple of points... Easy to an uber guild may be difficult to a pick up raid / casual guild.

Even if you get the arms, gloves, hat, bracers and boots off easier encounters, you're still not going to be able to get the big set bonus unless you take out Mayong and Wuoshi (legs + chest). The casuals and pick ups are not going to get to Wuoshi any time soon. So, you will have something over the casuals and pick ups for a long time to come (ie, ability to obtain a full set and the 7 piece bonus).

So, let the picks ups and casuals get their 5 pieces. Is this *really* going to hurt you? When you get your BP and legs, you'll still have something to show off and make yourself feel uber and like your hard work has paid off.

Just about all set armor for all priest and fighter classes are upgrades. Several scout pieces would be upgrades but by no means all. So it does make a fucking difference and don't fucking act like it doesn't just because mages get screwed. If they want to put all the mage set pieces bp and legs included on these trash nameds but no other class', I wouldn't care. But they didn't.

And Gryffk, the 7 set piece bonus isn't always the best or even good for that matter. For example, the templar 3 set bonus blows away the 5 and 7 set piece bonuses by a longshot.

You're telling me the Disso tank is going to be runing around in a complete set. or even most of a set? I'll believe that when I see it, thanks.

I would bet that I could field a raid of alts from my guild, and take out every named other then Mayong is IS without a problem at all.

Now alts of higher end raiders isn't the same as a pickup raid, but the fact remains alts would be a lot less geared and mastered then mains.
