From Itoock and Calaglin's post I'd say its a rumor founded in facts and its also likely.

Especially since I know of a few kills when I was in Disso that Ishbu tried to keep under wraps.

I am pretty sure it was stated that Disso will not world first a SINGLE mob this expansion, so by that, I would have to say it is definately a rumor.

Dunno who stated that, but I do remember someone saying the Avatars are all basically the same fight and you killed Valor, not hard to assume you'd kill the next Avatar to spawn, /shrug.
