Its definitly not a major raiding goal. Go ask the leaders of the top guild on ever server and see how many think that the avatars mattered at all once they were nerfed. I dont talk to many guilds but I do know of the ones I have talked to and I have seen post here, I dont think it matters, your guild leader Psykil didnt think avatars mattered anymore, an officer of SD didnt care anymore, and an officer of NPU didnt care.
So how can it be a major raiding goal if the major raiding guilds didnt care enough to make an effort anymore because it was gimped far beneath their abilities?
Look at all the other noob shit people can claim then if this is a major goal in the game!
Someone made an effort to be the first level 70 fae world wide. Does this make them worth a damn at playing that class?
Theyadded in new heroic instances with EoF, does anyone care who the first person that completed all those joke zones is?
Who was the first guild to kill barkah/siyamak in Maj Dul when they were changed from being orange to being yellow? Thats bad ass, they were the first ones to kill both pussy ass yellow mobs!
Thats just 3 quick examples, the list could go on.
If the avatars are actually a major raiding milestone, then I guess the another one would be the first guild to kill every named mob in EH. Not clear EH because any noob can do that, but kill every single named that can spawn in there. Who was that guild since its such a major accomplishment? Nobody knows, and do you know why nobody knows? Its because stupid shit like that just isnt important.
Hell I bet Paragon hasnt even cleared EH. I mean actually cleared the zone. A zone is not fully clear unless every mob has been slain. Have they done that? I doubt it. I mean that would be a major milestone to show a guilds endurance right?
Please, this isnt anything special. Maybe if avatars were hard, but they arent. Was anyone impressed by the first guild to kill both barakah and siyamak in Pillars of flame? No, because it was stupid, pointless and by the time siyamak actually spawned it was a joke that you could do with 2-3 groups.
As far as avatars go, Ill give credit where credit is due. Grats SD for world first the avatars. A lesser grats goes to the guilds that killed 3+ avatars before they were nerfed. Anything after that is child's play and not something I would be bragging about.
