yea ive went over that a few times but some people are to dumb. I guess the term can be stretched over my disliking of the french people but one cant be racist towards a country. So ill post this for you,

This is true. Tater is not expressing racisim when he makes comments about France and French people. He is expressing pro-American, anti-French nationalism.

There is a major difference between Nationalism and Racism.

Levlelfe, I hear what you are trying to say about people of the same race but different political or religious idenities hating and killing each other - perhaps the Serbs vs. Croats and Bosnian Muslims is the most notable recent European example of what you are talking about - but that is not the situation in this case, this is different.

Tater is making fun of you because you are French. The way I see this exchange between you and Tater, you are doing a pretty good job defending yourself individually and French people in general, and have come up with some pretty good responses. As you are undoubtedly aware, you have nothing to apologize for by being French, just as I have nothing to apologize for by being American.

I'd appreciate if we didn't try and elevate this discussion into the realm of "hate speech". This going back and forth seems harmless and not intended to be personal to me, and nobody involved really hates the other person - this is all in fun, right?
