am one of those "weaker"/casual raid forces, and I applaud this change. There's a thing that's supposed to be a part of this game called "progression", and just because the dev's didn't get it right from the start doesn't mean it's not supposed to be there. Did you go straight from Antonica to Lavastorm? I think not - you went from Antonica, to TS, to EL, to Rivervale, to Lavastorm, gearing up and learning along the way.
Raids are suposed to be the same way, even though every single casual raiding force caught a HUGE break with Labs/KoS because suddenly there was a relatively easy entry point into current tier raiding that did not require completion of the previous tier. There is supposed to be a difference between the casual player's gear and the hardcore raid guild's gear. There is supposed to be a challenge to new raid zones. When there isn't, there's a fundamental problem.
