just cause a dirge can do 900 dps or whatever else.. doesnt mean they should.. if a dirge is doing their job their dps wont be amazing, unless its all trash where they dont have to rez , or debuff very much

Vocal and Sylow both do thier jobs extremely well and parse well over double (in some cases triple) what's shown on those parses zonewide. Just because a dirge has things to do other than dps isn't an excuse to pull 200. Unless of course the entire raid blows/doesn't know what they're doing and all the dirge does is run around looking for people to rez.

So we shouldn't do decent DPS because we have three debuffs that don't do damage and because I am in guild good enough to where I don't have to rez all the fucking time? It's sad to see a dirge parse 200. Half of a dirge's role is to know the correct buffs to use in your group. Outside of that, in even a decent guild, rezzing shouldn't hinder a Dirge's DPS to the point where its 200. Not to mention the fact that some of our debuffs actually do damage. I debuff, I rez, and "do my job", and I still outparse most dirges beyond belief.

while ill admit 200 dps is pretty low...i doubt those dirges did 200 dps on every single encounter... and i kind of doubt they were trying. and i know that your guild isnt so uber that your dirges never have to rez anyone... like i said.. yea if you dont have to rez and crap you can do 800-1100 on a trash mob if u know what ur doing.. it doesnt mean a dirge sucks because they didnt top a zone parse.

Not trying is more DPS than that for any class that has more than 2 damage spells.

I wasn't trying to point out what a dirge should do on a single encounter moron. Of course I don't expect every fucking encounter to be between 700-1000. Even with CoB up, dirges shouldn't parse that low. And yes, I do have to rez occassionally. But it's nothing that keeps me from doing zonewides of almost three times what those parses indicate. I've done 1500 on an encounter and I have done almost nothing. It's all about the zonewides and those dirges fuckin blow if they parse 200 zonewide.
