if you have a ton of aoe avoids and bother with those signet things then pumpkin headed is a joke. but if you are rolling with no aoe avoids its actually pretty fun and challenging to match the dynamics of the raid to the encounter.

matron with no aoe avoids is easier than pumpkin headed horseman with no aoe avoids imo

i think throwing a bunch of aoe avoids in a raid is a strat, mana regen is not

Point is, if theres an ability in the game u choose not to use, then of course a mob becomes harder. But why the hell choose not to use it?

well I think you're wrong about that anyway, good players can do matron without regen, and can do pumpkin headed horseman without aoe avoids, but pumpkin is harder without both. pumpkin is harder with regen for both. pumpkin is only easier when you stack aoe avoids, in my opinion.

I really am curious after reading this what other guilds strats are. And I'm not really sure how to word this so I don't give away anything. But I don't see why using blade dance or the swarshies ae avoid once makes phh harder than matron. You definitely don't need signets. Honestly I think PHH is easier/or the same difficulty as MO.

The Matron without the first 2 mobs IMO is still harder than PHH but neither are really that hard. The randomness/possibility alone of 2 mt healers or off tanks getting ported to BFE, and the fact that you have to clear the first 2 mobs in matrons ring event, makes it more difficult imo.

For some reason the matron goes unbeaten by any guild on Crushbone. The buff stripping the tree does is making the encounter increasingly difficult for people to do. I wish i knew the trick to the encounter.... (wtb info on encoutner, will pay in "favors", payable by Pimtak)
