Pumpkinhead vs. Matron

There's a meaningless debate on a server in regards that pumpkinhead is harder then Matron. I for one dont feel the missery i went through with finaly beating the Matron could compare to any contested in EoF right now.
Post your honest thoughts and expeirences. I would appreciate people/guilds that have beaten both encounters or atleast beaten Matron to post and vote.

Yes = PHH is harder
No = Matroncunt is harder

I voted no.. I havent touched PHH... but from what ive seen and was told, no name guilds were killing it in mastercrafted gear. People,guilds and servers I had never seen or nor heard about were chatting in WW chanells about how they were killing it or how far they have gotten it to.

Let's see. Pumpkinhead is a yellow con, has a single ae that hits the raid, a single event that needs to be countered or it will wipe the raid, and a mildly annoying timer that can be completely avoided simply by moving.

Matron is an orange con, has two aes, a memblur, a teleport, a debuff that needs to be cured or it will wipe the raid, and spawns adds on a relatively quick timer that can completely incapacitate some of the raid.

Hrmmm, hard decision. Pumpkinhead is the Hurricanus of EoF.

Neither on the matron if you know what to do. I've been offtank there and never drop below 75% power, and with tanking I might go out of power when Matron is at like 25%, then the coercer will do his little trick and give me enough to last the fight.

Dunno what to say here. Once you figure out an encounter it becomes easy. The real question is wether PHH or Matron was harder to figure out the first time. I'd say that's the matron by far. However bad timing on PHH or some minor fuckup get you wiped, whereas you seem to have some more room for error on the matron. Then again I'm not entirely sure since we haven't actually killed PHH yet, but it seems like when you do 10 pulls on both mobs, you end up killing the matron more often than the PHH, imo making the matron fight itself easier.

I voted matron cause its a longer fight so more oppertunity for a guild to make a mistake.
