Default Why eq2 have such low highend content?

Cause the people working in SoE never played the game to the limits and here is my prove!!!!

Gimwell_SoE stupid dev from forum that took out the Zone and Population Forum had this goal in the game:

Lvl 30 artisan and lvl 30 adventure cause he thinks a lvl 30 is a solid lvl to stop been a noob....
"So, going from zero to 30 in a game that has 70 levels, should be easy right? What, a month of gaming hardcore and I'll be there?"

wtf it takes one week hardcore playing and one day with power lvl

"The rest of my path to 70/70 in the game is going to be a bit of a meander. I'm going to try to see new zones, different continents, and be an asset to my guild by mentoring new players when they need a friend. So my next goal is to just enjoy the ride now that I've got a fair start"

LOL so no raiding? and if lvl 30 takes him a month i guess lvl 70 will takes him a year

i'm not making this up check it by your self http://www.grimwell.com/

Best post ever was the one saying they were a level 70 and had never even seen blackscale.

Top end raiders are a dying breed

I hadn't seen BS by 70, but when I hit 70, nobody was going there.

I had to ding 70 in Den, because people were still scared of HoF, too.

Way to take the guy out of context. If you actually read the article and have at least basic comprehension skills he adds caveats to the effect that at 30/30 he believes he will be able to talk about the EoF newbie experience from a position of knowledge. Diametrically opposed to the OP which is made from a position of complete fucking ignorance.

It's one man, the new community Manager. He has more experienced developers to call on for raid knowledge along with feedback from Beta test raiders (whether they use that data or not). Right now he's new to the game and is feeling his way in.

And how the fuck can you extrapolate the current state of the raid game from the New Community Manager's efforts to familarise himself with the game?

Crap post.

Pro.

Grim is a nice guy and I think we should support him.

Afterall, they were nice enough not to hire Tamat.

Half the battle is knowing what you don't know... if that makes any sense. I think Grim is doing a fine job. I have yet to see him once come off high-handed.

It's not Grimwells job to be a dev or have all the answers. His job is to write up articles on the forums and use his networking skills with the Devs to get people answers etc. Community Manager = Link between players and devs.

A Link that can cause great confusion. For Example, his patch note update on Wolfsbane suggesting that there were other sources in-game, when there was none.

My problem is a Community Manager needs to be able to, and have experienced, the game in its fullest so they know what they the devs are talking about and what the players are talking about.
