On that day, templar arms were looted off the Tender after the Rumbler was yelled. On that day, those templar arms would not and could not have been looted from the Tender unless the Rumbler was first yelled. That is critical thinking / pre-law 101 causation, and you cannot deny it.

But there were other nights before that we looted templar arms without having anythign to do with the rumbler. How is that possible if the rumbler is directly involved in getting loot from the tender?

Its possible because the rumbler is not part of the tender encounter and does not affect getting loot off of him. Does yelling a mob in Wailing Caves affect me getting loot of Mayong in Inner Sanctum? No because they are different encounters period.

Offtanking him is fine, yelling him is not. Two different scenarios. One is purposefully exploiting the mechanics of /yell.

That is why the mechanic was changed.
Rumbler added when Tender was pulled, and you couldn't memwipe him. Its pretty straightforward unless you honestly think /yell'ing to despawn ring events is a legit strat.

The point was just merely to show that you can get loot from Tender without killing Rumbler if he is up.

Its only exploiting in your mind. I got no loot from the rumbler, I did not and do not see it as an exploit. As snark pointed out, if simply changing something makes anything they changed an exploit, i guess grats on everyone exploiting since darathar but that is just absurd and only an idiot would really think thats exploiting. Im not saying your an idiot, only you can volunteer that information as we will see in your reply.

lol this is great.

SOE made yelling impossible while being in fight, preventing the break of a script such as the rumbler's one, AND they nerfed the whole zone (logically including the rumbler in the nerf), making both sides thinking they are right on this subject.
