I hope everyone can agree that Grim is a stand up guy after the correction he posted. A lesser person would have stayed away and ignored the issue or pretended like it hadn't happened. As I said early in this thread, everyone makes mistakes. It is the mark of a man how he handles his mistakes, not whether he makes them.

I'm actually glad Grim was tested like this so early in his position with SoE - IMO, he came through with flying colors, and this allows him to start his relations with the raiding community on a positive note from the beginning.

If there is anything that has been proven beyond the shadow of a doubt by this whole mess it's that who kills what first does matter VERY VERY MUCH to a whole lotta people.

They should just put in an automatic worldwide message on all new epic named like they do on serverwide Artifact looting or maybe just have it drop some useless artifact like "head of the avatar" which just signifies the first kill. Hard to argue with an auto-generated message for WW1st.

No it really wasn't rhetorical. I didn't manage to check here this weekend so in sifting through 30+ pages of "France sucks" I missed it apparently. I'm honestly impressed that Grimwell actually posted over here after the douchebaggery in the first few pages. Thanks for linking it.

Yep and it should be left for 3rd party sites to chronicle that greatness. The people who care that much about WW1ST's are the people competing for them. Can you honestly tell me that number is a "whole lotta people?"

Agreed. SOE doesn't need to recognize the WW1sts IMO. That's what we have sites like this for.
