Re: Wow how big of a tool is Grimwell
Actually, I am wondering something different. In that very same quote, Grimwell says:

Grimwell, if you are still reading this (which I doubt), does this imply WW1st's are going to have to pass some kind of Dev acid tests on a case-by-case basis before the community can grats the guild (or hate on them) when something drops for the first time? If so, what will be your criteria for officially legitimizing a WW1st?
Welcome to the slippery slope folks were alluding to in respect to recognizing kills from up on high.
I'm with the rest of the folks in saying it is probably better to let the 'raiding rabble' debate and crown the winners and define legitimacy. Maybe I'm guilty of reading too far into the statement, but we have tread on a sensitive subject and it deserves no less than full clarification.

He really should avoid gratsing anyone, since it just leads to shit like this, no matter how good his intentions are. The unofficial knowledge of who killed what seemed to work a little better.

I'd bet what's in my bank account, if he had gratzied SD, then there might have been some grumbles, but it would have been primarily smooth.

It looks like if the mob was not doing any AE (the only way for the Avatar to be broken himself), they wouldn't have legitimized the kill. Which makes no sense. You either make every first kill legit unless an obvious exploit was used, or you don't, regardless of what is broken in the encounter, the named himself or the adds. In the case of the AoV, having him losing an add makes the fight easier than if he just lost an AE.
Anyway, there is no debate as to who got the ww1st on the AoV, it's Second Dawn. The case is closed and I'm way past it now.

Re: Wow how big of a tool is Grimwell
Yet you keep posting here trying to justify legit, and real, and broken, and AEs, you aren't over it, and probably still believe you did something really special.

What Grimwell posted was not completely agreeing with everyone's opinion on what a ww1st is, even though he congratulated SD. So I wanted to debate about it, intelligently, and maybe ending up agreeing with you all. I guess it was not needed.
Goodbye people, and have fun.

You didn't want to debate it, you just wanted to have your name as #1.
