really liked the zone and design, one of the most enjoable things i've done in eq2. puzzles are a little obvious, would have prefered more depth there as without outside help we cleared in about 3 hours. general dificulty of the zone is also too easy, especially for the rewards.

I'd like to consider it a good sign of things to come.

that would be awesome. The best thing about EQ1 was that there was SOOO much content, that even top guilds didnt have time to kill everything, not even all the contesteds. Make the world big enough where Disso DOESNT have enough time to kill all the contesteds, so they need to pick and choose the ones they want, and you will automatically put some sort of progression into the game.

The top guild on a server shouldnt be clearing EVERY instance/contested each week. They should be clearing the top stuff and not have time for the rest.

Exactly, also creates more competition and fun (the best elements of T5).

I've supported this back in T6, and when KoS came out I wanted them to add 20-levels to all the old content.

I don't care if it's the same content if it's harder and more interesting than what we have now. I know most of us have already experienced this previous content, but wow I wouldn't care. What they could do for the loot table is make them drop 1 guarenteed master spell, and have an uncommon drop the components for these new receipes(although I admit I still haven't seen them and I hope they are like Unrest's itemization) that are "dropping" in EH. There, content added no real need to work hard on itemization either. For the contesteds, make them drop Level 52, 55, 57-60 Masters even if they're T7 mobs. And then with the rest of the loot table, give them items with raid-related clickies, or even better yet CHARM SLOT ITEMS!!!!! I would kill for a new charm slot item that is better than my Musicbox or my Mirror(yes I wear Samirah's Mirror over a +15INT because it gives me more HP, resists, and 1 extra power!, while only losing a weak 10INT). Fact is, we want interesting stuff. Shit an AE Avoid Clicky item(we're talking an item that would give basically self-AE Avoid like the Swashbuckler AA except for yourself) with unlimited charges that is a rare as fuck drop off Nagalik would own. Think about it, we're talking about interesting clickies.

I think that idea would own hardcore. You just opened up a world of raiding to the hardcore guilds, AND lesser guilds.

With all that content no way even the most hardcore guilds could hit everything...so now contested wise you give less hardcore guilds shots at the same content.

Make each Contested drop a different componant (rare of course) and then that stop hardcore guilds from just camping 1 mob. Rotate the repops to not be easily calculated, so you can't camp the mobs.

Boom - end game content fixed for everyone.

If they dont want to see it, its there chioce. You can say the exact same thing for anything they add to the game be it solo content, group content, low level, or high level content, most players will never really see or use it. Its purely by chioce, so saying that is completely pointless.

And your wrong, we want more content. If EoF was released with 3 freethinker type zones and 4 MMIS type zones, and a functioning EH do you think we would be so bored now or do you think we would still be working on them, probably clearing them by now but have stuff to entertain us with good loot to get for a while still?

As it stands, so much loot is clumped into 3 zones and its all boring and oldhat. There needs to be more content period.

I think the problem is most players for some reason equate more content to more loot, even though thats not the case at all. It there was triple the content and it all ended with "about" the same loot we have now (this is assuming they aren't going to fix itemization) i'd be fine. Its more, and different, "shit" to do.

I think it safe to say that I've played this game longer than all of my prior games in my entire life combined. Why do you suppose that is?
