Re: unrest, final nail in coffin of progression?
I don't know, I only got one item out of the run the other... night/morning (because it was the only one I could use!)
It's the zone itself that made me freak out. My parents thought I was having a panic attack or something when, highlight for spoilers below:
SPOILERS
When you open a cabinet in the kitchen and the zombie dances. I don't care how many times I've seen it from the scare crow, it still freaks me out. Also the "pop goes the weasel" thing was just too creepy. The skull on the screen made me go "um, what" but the zombie... THE FREAKING ZOMBIE...
NOT SPOILERS
Was all this in the EQ1 Unrest? Seriously that was like a huge mind... torture. Otherwise I liked the zone.

Re: unrest, final nail in coffin of progression?
I loved the little stuff you are describing and it was great after cutting through the zone with a bunch of raiders to go with some more casuals and watch them freak out.
The specific incident you are describing? I kept trying to trick people into doing it over and over because one group member (Coyote) kept screaming.
Anyone I've been with that did the original Unrest said this zone was done in the spirit of the original zone. The maze from my understanding is the exact same design, there is a gazebo, some of the original nameds, etc...

this was a LOT like the eq1 unrest...same lay out, design, floor plan. Several same named. Some drops even from the eq1 unrest. I really enjoyed the zone my first time through.....i wouldnt do it again simply because in full fable its a joke of a zone and as soon as u learn the puzzles its like an hour n 30 tops.

Re: unrest, final nail in coffin of progression?
not being a hardcore raider anymore, the zone really seems like it's a good zone for non raiders to invest 1.5-2 hours-ish and get themselves some loot that has some nice effects, it's not like fabled is just flying out of there, and if anything it's just cloaks with different effects, nothing game breaking anyone would want to farm to get 24 of to beat <mob x>
zone like unrest are good to for poeple to see if they're able to invest time and they like working out problems and are ready to raid or not.
the one thing i would most definitely change is to have the progressive difficulty of the nameds go up a hell of a lot more than it does. it'd be fun if the first mob was doable by most standards, the second was pretty tough, the third really hard, and so on and so forth. that way you keep coming back to try different things out and test things more and more. and then i think you might catch that fever that most of us experienced in t5 that i barely felt in DOF and definitely didn't in kos.....
but also a zone like icey digs would be absolutely fantasticle in any teir. that zone was sooo much fun, it's just too bad i played 2 of the classes you really didn't want to bring in that zone, but i stilllll loved it.

Tankgarth, EQ2 misses you. We have pancakes and I hear igloos are coming in a future expansion. Come back.
