Why the fuck did they remove the memwipe? Is there some random intern just going through the scripts and making pointless little edits here and there? Or is the player base assumed to be a dumb fucking bunch of retards?
It's not like this gives content to the fucking n00bz who wouldn't "experience Vyemm" otherwise. They are not experiencing Vyemm, they are experiencing the same tired tank-nuke-heal bullshit that the more experienced players are trying to distance themselves from.
If I were to say, "Man, let's go raid LVL, I miss the fun fights in there" I would be full of shit wouldn't I, now that the place is some Fisher Price shithole.

It was? A search for Vyemm over on the official boards in the "Game Update Notes" forum, shows 3-posts. 1 for the original 6-hour re-use timer on entering to prevent Relic Farming. Another for the re-balance of Labs after EoF changes. And then one final one where they fixed the eye-ball guy's stoneskin.

I wasn't kidding. Rather than question if it's true or not here on the forums, try it next time you're in there, or ask anyone that goes there regularly (specifically tanks since they should know). He would always target someone else, atleast for second, after the knock up. I started to notice that on atleast a few trips through there, he wasn't memwiping - at all. Prior to this, he would memwipe about 3 or 4 times per fight (depending on the length of time the fight lasts). So out of curiosity after seeing this, I (the MT) have even stopped attacking and not taunting before/during the expected memwipe. He stays right on me, np. No longer a need to make sure rescue was ready, or for other tanks to help with the taunting, or for dps to slow attacks. This encounter (if fighting vyemm alone and not both him and alzid) is now the easiest named fight in the zone. No adds to worry about, no damage shields, no deadly dots, etc.
Edit: I don't know if it was ever officially in any update notes or not, but trust me, he's lost it

I don't see why people are saying it wasn't taken away. He no longer mem wipes, for some strange reason. I don't know if it's bugged or they just thought, hey let's make this even easier. Althought the fact that it wasn't in any notes leads be to believe he probably should be.

Just have the OT pull alzid to the stairs, this is where he resets automatically. At the same time have the MT pull vyemm into the corner and go to work on him. We split him all the time its real easy.
