In EoF, all I can think of is Mayong, the crap x2 nameds in Castle Mistmoore, PHH and the Avatars.
Personally, I think there should be (and maybe you guys who dominate your servers will disagree with me) a ton of epics. When I heard about the avatars, I was hoping they'd be 8 different contesteds, each with their own timer, of 5-7 days. That would leave Mayong Mistmoore, 8 Avatars, and PHH for a total of 10 contesteds. What this would do would make it hard for one guild to control all the contested mobs, and if you could pull it if, it would totally prove the badassedness that the people who try to do that want. Even 10 contesteds seems low to me. I don't think they need to share a loot table, or even have the same "tier" of loot, but there really should be a lot of contested mobs with a large variaty of difficulties and items. It should be hard for one guild to control the spawns - it makes the accomplishment worth more if you're a badass guild controlling 15 mobs. Right now, how hard is it really to control the avatars, PHH and Mayong? Would it not be more fun to have to fight over 10-15 mobs?

That's been a request basically every harcore raider has had for a couple of expansions now. The worst part about it is, when the original game came out, they got it right. As they add more and more to the game, you would think the trend would continue, but alas it hasn't at all. Keeping 3P, MO, Matron, PHH, 1 Avatar, Mayong locked down is something that happens on pretty much every server.
Not to derail though, this thread is more about having avatars up more than once every week - 2 weeks. I hope someone reads this thread and realizes there's no need to make their spawns so long.
And btw we got our first "no." I can't understand why anyone would want to limit the spawns of an avatar. I'd really like to hear the argument.
Edit: The only person who voted "no" has never posted before, so wont expect to hear it.

come on man, having ANYTHING on such a long spawn timer is a fucking joke. you look at what the hardest instanced mobs are in game, and what they drop, and you wonder what the point is in even bothering with avitars if you cant even GET them there too kill in the first place. i may not be actively raiding right now (RL fucking sucks sometimes), but FUCK would i love too at least sit back on a rock or up a tree when i get a chance too log in and watch someone beat the shit out of a 30 foot tall demon in the commonlands, or a flamelord up in lavastorm, while sippin on an ice cold drink in a nice chair. the thing about contested mobs is, well, they arent just there for the loot and too kill, they are there for an experience. i remember back in t5 days on lavastorm, i would always be keeping an eye on often used channels for the typical "TDS IS DOWNING VOX" type of thing. several times, i showed up and watched, even helped with rezing if they wiped (paladin after all  ), and it was fun!!!! its fucking fun too just watch people beating up contested. its like whats gonna happen next time the aoe goes off, are some adds gonna run em over, is a meteor gonna fall out of the goddamn SKY and bounce off their heads like it were nothing, i wanna see some action! issue is, right now, the action is so sparse and far between that i have only ever seen PHH downed twice, and have NEVER seen anyone fighting any of the other contested, despite the ammount of time i used too spend up in the areas where they spawned in kos.
if the devs actually think that this is "working as intended" then they really need too do a better job at developing their content. its just dumb, period

YES, give us more contested, there were over 25 T5 raid targets including instances and contested. in t7 we have what, bith xpacs included maybe 15? 20? i agree with Calaglin, drop it to 1 loot per mob, and make em all seperate.

They definitely should split their spawn timer. We had Flames 4 times now, almost every 2 weeks, I guess we'll be transmuting his staff before seeing Fear for the first time. Nerf Incinerate! 
Such a powerful "miracle" on a deity that can be picked by both sides, evil and good, gives him a BIG advantage. And I won't talk about his proc buff that is pretty good too.
The 8 avatars should have a separate timer and each timer should be dependant on the prayers/gifts, with a minimum of maybe 12 or 15 days (or more). The more gifts, the faster it could respawn once it reached that minimum.
BTW, anyone has seen Fear yet?

Now don't get me wrong... because I'm all about you guys having something to do.
You want them to change a mechanic that every player in the game affects (I'm assuming they still spawn based on favor) because you guys are bored?
They were designed to be rare contested mobs, not regular content.

My guild went against Fear once (I wasn't logged on that night, evidently). I'm told it was a very quick encounter. I don't think Fear has been taken down on any server as yet, though that is likely in part due to his rarity.
