any old school open dungeon.. im really looking forward to the one coming in the next xpac, from talking with the devs at FF its supposed to be unprecedentedly huge. nothing like large open heroic contested spaces.. remember when running to wailing caves was a chore because of hills filled with heroic orcs.. lulz.

you know what zone i dont miss.. meeting of the minds. fuck treasured chests!

Spirits of the Lost- Fun but easy strats, semi-interesting lore from the access quests.
Sol Eye - Everything, I just wish they would expand on the lava pit/fields and have some gnomish device to ride on top of the lava fields like they did in Champions of Norrath on PS2.
Permafrost - Very pretty zone, amazing detail, the statue quests were fun and are a good goal other then just farming all the nameds and contested. (Having the statue quest series reminds me that SoS was pretty good with quests too.)
Blackburrow - Unique sound/music and fun theme, I loved the "hidden" areas like the tree stump you can fall through, the water tunnel to the brewery and the water tunnel to the quest givers.
Runnyeye - Unique sound/music and fun theme and the zone size is decent.

Permafrost. As for raid zones, King Dryek(heh) and the TT ones in KoS. I for some reason liked the look and feel of those places. All of DoF save for SS, my god the SS are a terrible place to be.

Laura Karpmans music for the original eq2 shattered lands was pretty legendary. Commonlands, Runnyeye, and CT had the best music. TTR music was pretty damn awesome as well.

Too bad most people probably don't play with music on.

Sol eye.first time i went down there in 2004 with my first raid guild to talk to nagafen...I was blown away i would stop and take screen shots...I went down last night and still best looking fantasy settings...need to revamp that zone cause nothing in game looks like it period.!!

Soe need overland zones where people need to fight down to get to it, possible to be trained on, camping ect...Put some nice loot down there and let people at it...make it a pain in the ass to get to so risk reward comes into play. Rather have that instead of some person doing the work and SLR'in a item to channel...this game is easy mode...
