actually SoE doesnt take anything from WoW because there is nothing original in WoW, WoW is made up of a lot of the good features from past MMOs like EQ1, UO, Shadowbane, AO, DAoC. They just combined all the good things, slapped on some shitty graphics to give the blizzard/warcraft feeling and to help lag issues and Wah-Lah!!

i think its going to be a new zone, just from what i posted earlier, wish i could find that lore lol, but Neriak is sealed off by the Queen, and outsiders arent allowed, even other dark elves

So, since WoW took stuff from other games (yup they did) and SOE takes some of those things also now, SOE does not take them from WoW, but SOE takes them from the original game/thought?

Stop blabbering. anyone who reads game update notes can see a trend that feautures that are in WoW suddenly appear in EQ2. Often after they had been tested (?) in VG.

Does that make Eq2 better, worse, or whatever....I dunno. They do the logical thing, analyse the market leader and copy some things.

I just know what I read in update notes, and to me there is a surprising amount of new UI stuff / feautures introduced into the game that are in WoW. (OK sorry they are in WoW, but SOE now made their own analysis of 20 other games and copied something from each and every one of them).

And WoW took their lore from Warhammer, their mail system from SWG maybe. What does this have to do with Neriak?
