Offtopic but what i mean by item based skills is 4 new skills only raised by itemization. Spell shield, spell block, Guard, and strikethrough. Spell shield is an additional ressit check for T8+ mobs making it harder to land debuffs. Spell block is an additional to hit check on ressited spells, guard is an additional avodi melee/ranged check, and strikethrough is an additional to hit melee/ranged check. these 4 abilities are only raised through itmeizationa dn thus provides and artificial item based progression with NPCs gaining linear difficulty by a rise in these skills. With pc's obtaining these skilsl through items.

I also want a seperate persona number to display spell resist and spell mitigation. Like melee. this would provide additioanl means to develope characters. Also taunts can be mitigated like eveyr other spell in my opinion.
Ok, again, I said is probably hard to do overall, but the level you are making it appear it ridiculous.

The curve WILL begin to fix itself with a cap increase, and it will be better than it is now. Somethings won't be fixed, but some will.

The rest, I'm just not even going to touch. You are telling me that itemization won't be fixed in T8, but you want to completely overhaul the entire system?

yes i am saying itemization is hard to do w 24 different classes. I never said it was rediculous but you originally posted it would ge tmagically fixed from the start in T8. Which i said i would expect issues if i were you.

The curve will not fix itself and i can show you with numbers why if needed. Because the curve has a end cap which is linear and itemization is not linear in its progression.

Lol i am not completely overhauling the system I am asking for 4 (four) new item based skills that are gear dependant that allow raiders to have a larger item based progression. Instead of a mainly level based. the addition of 4 (four) skills is not an overhaul. the idea behind it is the more variables incuded in itemization the less emphasis on the current variables will allow PC's to not hit the diminishing return caps as easily and effectively gimp combat.

I've been wondering if we're not going to get an underfoot expansion at some point. You've got Neriak where supposedly the people are digging down into the underfoot, the roekillik and ratonga stuff, the invasion of Kaladim... Some guy mentions the black sun sea, which sounded like an underground ocean or something to me.

If I remember correctly the Hole on Odus was connected to the Plane of Underfoot as well and there was a teleporter from it to Neriak at some point. I dunno just a lot of ways you can go. Plus we can have f0 shizzt my drizzt Drow.

Oya here's something about the black sun sea; "The fleshbound tome was not the only oddity that would creat the foundation for my castle,the very brickes of the structure would be just as unique. Lord Punox reached into his satchel again,removing a small dark block. This would be the stone of the castle. It was said to be from a cavern deep in Norrath that was carved by Brell. This cave exists near the mythical Black Sun Sea. These bricks are formed of magical forces of the Underfoot. Once removed from the cavern they would be tormented and shaped by special Teir'Dal crafters employing rituals long removed from history."

no no no no see u all got it wrong they are releasing Neriak as a server again so all those that were forced to move to Kithicor can once again move back to Neriak
