If Neriak shows up, I doubt it would be a starting zone, as it'd require people to go through Fallen Gate to get to the Commonlands.

you dont have to go through FG when you have a gate to Darklight Woods

have more screens of new gate but this one had the chat text, location in CL and pic of gate and gaurds

i also have a pic of a map which is what i am guessing Darklight Woods

Yea its about time for an official announcement. People pretty much figured its going to be an evil fae race. A new evil starter city probably like Gfay called darklight woods. And possibly the reopening/expansion into neriak.

Put this and thex castle and the final sword of destiny quest line in and you might have enough content for 2 more months.

Toss in the new character models and LFG tool in a future LU and revamp class armour abit.

Then add in a new complete large T8 expansion and you have yourself a decent game. with all the recent changes and the way this game is coming out lately, the relative smoothness and direction of raiding. I am really looking forward to what the next EQ2 exansion will bring.

There does appear to be a new zone on Test, with an entrance on the zone wall between Wailing Caves and Nektulos Forest:



The location is shown above, and is also shown visually on the map by the red arrow in the far upper North.

There are also some new NPCs in the area, but they don't seem to want to spill the beans . . . yet:

you do know we are dealing with SOE right?

I would like an all t8 epansion with no shitty clouds, just open area that looks cool. and not a zone that every mob has a stun or snare, some mobs it would be ok but every damn mob? its really just annoying.

Some interesting info there from LFG, but hey wait a minute, isn't that gate where the roekillik were digging? and if memory serves me right, they talk of "the winged ones"

Stun / snare mobs stop/slow Monks/brawlers from FD through the entire damn zone
