Ya, I knew the numbers would not be exactly correct because the individual threds are not updated instantly. I just straight copied them as they were, but updated info is always appreciated.

Thanks.

Especially when all russian servers located in Amsterdam and controlled by SoE

whether this is a completely accurate list or not doesnt really matter to me.

seems like theres around 10+ "raiding" guilds on each server -- some have many more, obviously. some have fewer. some of these guilds are really hardcore, some of them are more casual. but all of them are at least clearing some TSO content.
theres something like 25 servers listed there -- i think -- saw a few other posts to add missed servers -- that's an estimate

theres say 30 +/- 5 people in each raiding guild. Some probably have more like 40 - 45 (i guess).

so 30x10x25 = 7500. This is an approximate number, very approximate. But that's a lot of people, regardless. I have no idea wtf the actual population of EQ2 is game wide (anyone have any idea?)

This seems like a substantial enough number to me.

AT FF09 sony made it seem llike 1% of the eq2 population raids.

Seems like sony might be wrong.

I dont know, my numbers might be swayed in my favor because I prefer raiding to casual.

Some of those guilds have way more members, and if you counting accounts id say the average raiding guild is about 50-55 with the high end at 100+ accounts and the low end being 40 being paid for by its members.

Does it really matter who controls it? Because as I said, SOE won't give Akella the source code to tinker with the application.

yeah, i'll agree with that if i look at my own guild, however theres only about 30 of us who are dedicated raiders

i think a lot of other guilds are like this too.

Ballads point was that people have more than one account so those raid guilds have more accounts.

my guild has about 30 active raiders (some alt we play and friends on roster but about 30 raiders.) Of those members 1 pays for 6 accounts, 2 pay for 5,2 pay for 3 and about 8 have 2 accounts.
