    It is good to see credibility and acknowledgment given the players/posters here by some in the SOE community that can stomach the browbeating that they take. Though Rothgar in particular is held in high regard on this site, others are not. Either way, it's good to see them post here and acknowledge the issues AND that they are being worked on.

    We are working on optimizations all over the game right now in order to improve performance. It's ironic, but one of these optimizations actually caused the slow zoning time that occurred after Tuesday's hotfix.     We made some great improvements today which should hopefully cut down on some of the server lag. These improvements will need to be tested and probably run on the Test Server for a week or two before they every see live servers though. As much as I want to get them out there asap, we still have to do our best to try to catch problems before you experience them even if we aren't always 100% successful at it.

    you gotta be kidding me, first time i have ever seen a dev post here, although i dont play really anymore i have stalked these boards a bit...

    Way to go talking to the community and now just on the station boards (which allot here dont use IMO lol)

    one thing the BG's does do however is suck out half the population on the servers making it near impossible to get a group for an instance, at least on oasis where the population is like what 25 ppl ? if anyone reads feedback im sure they would have seen some ppl asking for a way to speak with the population of your server that is currently in BG, so they know something is going on.
    personally i would love a server merge for Oasis to get us into a more populated server, but i would be happy with just being able to speak to the bg server.

    did any of that make sense ?

    or we can just make BG's instances that we zone into, WW availability... then I don't think they would have to relog you every time you go in/out of bg...
