    So when are soe going to delete battleground so we can have lag free and the stupid zoning time

    um hello there, when has this game ever been lag free? That's an oxymoron if I've ever seen one. And with the zone time issues, get use to it it's been arround in some form or fashion since launch. =D

    Thats a ridiculous statement. Most, if not all people, were fine with zoning et al, until battlegrounds launched. Hey, weird coincidence.

    idk, nagafen is still fine with zoning times and we have been the number 1 or 2 on population for years

    The battlegrounds aren't the issue anymore but they are an easy target so people will forever blame them on any type of lag that occurs from now until the end of time. It's unfortunately really.

    We are working on optimizations all over the game right now in order to improve performance. It's ironic, but one of these optimizations actually caused the slow zoning time that occurred after Tuesday's hotfix. This change was in testing for two weeks and it never displayed that behavior in QA or on the Test Server. So it's really unfortunate that you guys have to be subjected to it on live. However, we found the source of the issue and disabled that optimization Tuesday night so you didn't have to endure it any longer.

    From my standpoint, performance looked really good tonight. I'm sure there were some game server lag issues, but in terms of zoning and that sort of thing, it should have been pretty good.

    We made some great improvements today which should hopefully cut down on some of the server lag. These improvements will need to be tested and probably run on the Test Server for a week or two before they every see live servers though. As much as I want to get them out there asap, we still have to do our best to try to catch problems before you experience them even if we aren't always 100% successful at it.
