Farming Vzee'rist's Sash of Draining

Everybody wants this item, but it has a low drop rate and it's a fucking PAIN getting regular Nizara groups to farm it.

I'm trying to come up with some kind of assembly line, low-commitment way of farming this thing for whoever needs it. People generally want their shot at the mob that drops it without having to muddle through the entire remainder of the zone.

My question is, from the moment you enter Nizara, what's the fastest direct path to the Vzee'rist named mob, and how long does it take you to reach it and kill it?

I would think the fastest way is to kill the first named, clear her room, go up the stairs there, then she's up the next set of stairs. I may be off by one set of stairs tho. I know she's not that deep in, can be the second named if you go that way.

I would say with an efficient group, it should take 30 mins maybe. Depending how much dps you brought.

Takes longer to make a group than it does to get to the named...

i wonder if you took a monk if he could FD train you down there lol
make it like a 10 minute run

Zone is VERY crowded (I'm sure you know) and there is no "safe" spot unless you are clearing it.

anything to not have to spend much time in that zone lol, im starting to see the side of all of the whiney soloers and groupers (not sayin they all are whiney, but there is a bunch heh) i really want good gear, but i dont want to have to work for it, gimme gimme!

LOL I didn't say what I said to be snotty. Its true. Thinking over the zone, and where the named is, you would essentially have to train thru 30+ mobs, one of them a named, and happen to find the one square foot of flooring that you can stand up for more than 10 seconds without agroing something (which agros half the mobs you feigned off thanks to social agro!)

meh if the monk cant do it, he just sucks and should delete his character

A Brawler won't be able to train there. Sure, a brawler alone can get through the whole zone but thats run, (5steps), fd, run, (5steps), fd. Rinse repeat. Can't do that with a group on your back :p.

As Elanie said, clear first room, pull roamer, pull 1st named down, go up the wallway, clear that room, pull water golems down into the 2nd room, pull nizari down into 2nd room, go up the set of stairs. Your now in your third room, pull mobs down from the fourth room to the third room. Then your at Vzee'Rist.

It takes 10minutes with a "good" group.
