LMAO maybe not tastfully said.. but the man does have a point. Personally, I found the new starting area to be a welcomed change from the norm. First in size and second in quest progression lay out. Instead of running you back and forth and every which way like the quests do on the orginal starting area, (Like having to run to the damn Treehouse for 4 different quests at completely different times) I found that the quests slowly took you throughout the various sections of the woods without having you to backtrack too much. Yes, there were a few quests that took you to the river to go fishing.. but if you followed the quest progressions and grabbed them while you came up upon the NPC's you could knock out all of them at the same time. Wasn't like you got to quests up towards the Fair and they sent ya back to go fishing again. My only gripe is that so far from the 28 or so quests I've completed, most of the loot has been crap no trade items that I can't even use for my class.

Feerrott was not a quest camp at the launch of EQ2. All of the quest camps were added afterwards to make the game more solo friendly. They seem to add a camp in each new expansion zone, but they don't seem to take you over the entire level range, so that's the kind of camps I'd prefer. Camps that are small and aren't how you are supposed to level up, grinding should be required still.

One thing I noticed about DLW, and I don't know whether this is due to the SOGA people itemizing it, but every named I killed only dropped a treasured chest, and I killed several ones several different times (probably10-12 kills total). Was glad to see that. The loot was in line with the difficulty.

Both times playing in DL Woods, once test, once life, after approx. 1.5 hrs. I ended up having a crash-restart that was rather scary. So far as I know, it's only that zone. I can see Tirisfal in there, & also the EQLive Nektulos too (3rd vsn. I think they're on now).

Neriak makes my video card cry (think it's the flames), but I love it - did the port quest on my main last night & finally checked out the housing. Love the basement dwelling in the 5 room
