I didn't see Neriak in test, so today was my first glimpse. God damn, that zone is fucking sexy. The 5-room house is to die for. I just have a few questions:

- If I move my coercer there from Freeport, will I lose all my masters?
- Will the spire in the wooded zone have a portal spell available to all sorcerors?
- Is there immediate access to Sinking Sands via carpet or whatnot, like the two main cities?

/agree with OP.

I don't particularly care for the PC models, but I love their zone design. The Fallen Dynasty was awesome, and Neriak/Darklight Wood is incredible.

Try and not read too much into this, but if you love the whole darkflight woods area, consider playing WoW sometime.

Im not joking, that zone is a complete, 100% rip off of WoW newbie zones. I actually felt like I was playing WoW while I ran an Arasai around. Everything from the small segmented area's, the hold your hands quests for dummies with auto spawn named mobs that dont deserve a name, right down to the periodically spaced encampments with the cave or tower for that area, it was a complete rip off of World of Warcraft.

Go roll a character in WoW and come back and tell me Im wrong, seriously.

Hell even the I got to level 20, did every quest in the zone and conjoining city zone and used up the entire updates content in under 3 hours felt like WoW. Too much work for something so easily played through.

Aye the quests were quite easy, just go here kill that mob 2 feet away kinda stuff, reminded me of VG noob zones on beta, had same kind of layout.

Ahh... I didn't actually play it. I just ran through with my level 70 character and thought it looked cool. XD

It's a fucking newbie zone. What the fuck do you want? Fucking X4 motherfucking mobs everyfuckingwhere?

They did a nice job on the zone design; it's a nice change of pace from the dogshit brown bag of bland that SOE normally pinches out.

Darklight Woods is nice, too. Easy, fun. NPC's aren't standing room only and hardly anything stuns/stifles/slow etc. Nameds can be soloed by one-armed defilers, but so what.

Quests are fast, easy and decently fun but not great.

The only technical issue was my newly made maus brig couldn't be sent mail, nor could I talk to anyone on my friends list or my guild. The simple fix was to delete the character and remake on the server I normally play on.

Asstons of people all over the place and the server ran like butter all night; it was 3 am my time and there were still 3 instances of DLW running.

The whole bit is good stuff. The lot of it is polished, fun to play and to look at. I'd say let the fuckers at GMWorker er SOGA or whatever it is called do more stuff.
