At the rate the item designers are inflating new item stats, the stat curve can't accommodate it. Assuming otherwise is putting faith in design discipline that has never to date been demonstrated. So raise the stat curve to where we thought it would be in the first place, right? No, instead we get this:

1) Gray out prior content for a fresh start.
2) Invalidate 10 levels of spells ffs.
3) Make the players kill a million of this, a million of that, whatever while we figure out wtf we're doing.
4) Burn out the low stat ceiling with careless stat inflation.
5) Oops.
6) Go to 1.

So what is Illuminators suggestion you may ask? Why its simple, start at number 5 and NEVER EVER EVER progress. He wants this game to fail, he even said himself he does not want nor will he encourage new people to pick up this game.

Illuminator, your fucking pathetic. Your so upset that this game is actually moving forward after 18 months of the same tier, you would rather have them shut the servers off than to see it come to fruition.

There are plenty of games that never change, never progress and leave you stuck in the same rut you started out in. Go play minesweeper if that is what you like, I promise, it wont suddenly have 50 more mines than the last time you played on that same board.

For those of us that actually like MMO's because they are constantly changing and advancing, we get the level increase. Then again we arent the socially retarded people that seem to have trouble keeping up with 24 month old content. Yes 2 fucking years because that is the only shit that will turn grey if you CHOOSE to level to 80.

And hoenstly, I dont know why you feel like you have to level to 80 anyways. Just hang out and enjoy level 70 and all the content it has for you and then 6 or 7 months down the road when some guilds have cleared everything you can level, join them, and pretend like you actually play through this game rather than latch onto the people who have already achieved success. That is what your best at anyways as history proves.

So just do what you have been doing, stay low end like your dps and then someday some big boy will let you tag along and you can appear cool by asssociation!
