Dt at one point was a hard zone and tarinax was a decent encounter, but then came the Nerf bat of Domination.

Woot we burned tarinax in 47 seconds, YES.

Now I see Emerald Halls following the same path. In January there was a handful of guilds that even saw wuoshi and even fewer who could kill it.

6 Months later

I cant even begin to count the number of guilds that can do it now. Right before RoK comes out, i wonder if it will be to the point were speed runs and EH are in the same sentence.

There are similarities, but EH has its own unique problems. DT Trash wasn't the difficulty of the zone, in EH it is. Wuoshi is still far harder than tarinax in his current form, and was buffed, not nerfed.

Tarinax became harder before he was nerfed, too. Wuoshi could easily be nerfed down the road.

Players are nerfed, enemies and zones are gimped.

I dont remember DT ever being a hard zone actually. If anything I would say EH now is like PPR after getting the ring. It took a challenging zone so to speak and made it completely dumb and easy.

I'd say Vanguard and server downs had more to do with guilds not killing Wuoshi than difficulty. Though it can be said Wuoshi is a difficult encounter that takes most guilds a good few attempts before working the strat, but no more than Tarinax imo.

Yea i guess that would be a better comparison, I just love how it was taking top end guilds multiple days to do the zone, CL, SD, NPU, Disso, and more, and even before the crazy gimping of the zone, the named guilds above could do it in 2 days, maybe even one if you started early enough. Now the zone can be done in 4 hours before the name npc was added. I am guessing that it can easily be done in 2 hours.

The funniest part about the new npc is that the enocunter is a 72 ^^ and a 72 single down. OMG OMG i dont know what i am going to do, not to mention the npc is bugged to all hell, an example the shaman dog dog is a zerker (dont ask how i know this) and if you send it to attack the two mobs, BAM you loose. Grats SOE on another finely tuned and tested mob.
