Below is the ONLY avatar that felt any different to me than the others, so that is what I chose.

Valor - Kill adds, Kill valor, hit special adds with orb them kill them.
Flame - Kill adds, Kill flame, I dont even know wtf those little pillars are for
Growth - Kill adds, Kill growth, cure stun thing
Hate - Kill adds, Kill hate, there isnt even a third aspect to this anymore
Tranquility - Kill adds, Laugh as tranquility pretends to do damage of any form
Fear - Kill fear, avoid the one ae, are there even adds on this fight?
War - Kill adds, Kill war, Kill the easier adds quickly
Below - Kill adds, Kill Below, kill a sort of epic thing, yay!

Its not much but at least it was a little different and a small (albeit very small) change of pace every 20%. Of course this could have been changed since we have not seen below since before the nerfs took place.


EDIT - Also, wtf, of the 32 votes at the time of me posting this, I can count at LEAST 4 of them have never killed an avatar. How fucking stupid.

That's true, Below felt slightly different, also the beginning of the Tranquility ring was promising, but once the monk x4 spawns (after 2 heroics only), there's nothing special happening until it dies and you get the loot. Disappointing =(

But Fear was still the best for me, maybe because we never thought about avoiding an AE and killed it in a different way.

1) Getting beat once does not constitute us not having a monopoly, because that will be the last time that happens, too bad it happened to be a server first, but shit happens.

2) We gave them no free shots, we pulled first, fucked up the next two, and they got it on their third. We were sloppy and they took advantage of it. Lesson Learned.
